Manhasset Florist

The flower I ordered arrived late and were in very poor shape. I asked for a refund but they refused. Overall I was very unhappy with my experience with these florists. I will not be returning anytime soon.

I found a nice floral arrangement for a funeral on their website and decided to call the shop to make the order. That was a bad idea for both me and them.
I told them the arrangement I would like to order. After they figured out what it was, THEY asked ME how much it was. There were three sizes listed so I ordered the largest.
Then I heard the manager saying in the background «They ordered the cheapest fucking thing! Why are they ordering the chepest fucking thing?!»
At this point I was little annoyed, but whatever. I heard the employee try and explain to him that it wasn’t actually the chepest, because I was buying the largest size.
Then I heard the manager continue his rant, «It’s still the cheapest fucking thing! We don’t charge less than $ 150 for most fucking sprays!»
I still heard him ranting in the background when I decided to just hang up and order from a different florist.
These flowers were for a funeral, mind you, so his callousness was appalling.
And I didn’t set your prices Mr. Manager. You can charge whatever you like. YOU should be telling me what to pay, not asking ME for your prices. I also don’t know shit about flowers. Price wasn’t my concern, I just saw a picture of flowers that looked nice.
So take the chance to sell me a nicer arrangement and I’m going to take your advice. Or you can just bitch and moan your way to bankruptcy, fine by me.

poor customer service at best. i received a gift floral arrangement for thanksgiving that was supposed to be in a keepsake pumpkin. it arrived instead in a bruised aging real pumpkin. the person who answered the phone whined about substitutions and that he would have to pay a driver to redeliver but in the end agreed to send a poinsettia to pacify me. i received a call the next morning from said florist who said he would not be sending the poinsettia because FTd received a complaint from the sender of the arrangement and they deducted ten dollars from his cost. my goodness, either send the right thing the first time or stand by your word and extend a little customer service and show a little teeny bit of business sense. i will never use manhasset florist again. by the way the rotten arrangement that arrived a day late went in the garbage the day after thanksgiving. thanks but no thanks
