Maple Place Garage

So I went to the Maple Place Garage today for an issue with my rear bumper. The shop was recommended to me and I was told to see Steve. After showing him the damage, he could have very well told me that the bumper needed to be replaced immediately, which was really what I was expecting. Instead, he gave me much more sensible option and a simple fix that will carry me through the winter. I was so impressed with his honesty that I just had to write a review. I’d gladly recommend this shop to anyone who asked.

I’ve been coming to this shop since i was in High School, i thought because it was in Manhasset the pricing would be unfair but i was wrong for judging a book by its cover
i have had a long relationship with this shop and they have fixed my car so many times and went above and beyond at some points
They are always busy but if you bring it in early there’s a good chance your car will get done the same day depending on the repair
John has been the owner for along time, he is very knowledgeable and friendly, Doug is the other main mechanic and he is VERY competent and knowledgeable as well, they don’t play games prices are fair considering you get a piece of mind that your baby is in the best hands
I plan on coming here for another decade or so

Have been going to John of Maple Place Garage for years now… Like the previous reviewer said– this is an honest repair shop, that prides itself on excellent work. A true gem !!!

This is the type of honest auto repair shop that you dream of finding. I’ve been coming here for years and I know that if they tell me I need something, it is because I really needed it and not because they were trying to make a buck.
When I lived out of state for a while and felt that the auto shop in Florida was trying to pull a fast one on me, I called John from Maple Place Garage to ask his opinion on whether or not I needed the stuff the place in Florida was trying to push on me. I think that’s a pretty good indicator of how much I trust the folks at Maple Place.
