I absolutely love the variety of selection offered by SerendipiTea. I have been ordering my teas from them for several years now. Some of my favorites include the Secret Garden (perfect for relaxation), Ambrosia (whenever I feel like tasting something different) and Monk’s Mead (a creative take on chamomile tea.) SerendipiTea ships their teas quickly and efficiently. Overall, a great experience every time!

We have been buying loose leaf teas from here for years! We had it for the first time at Artisanal. We favor the Buccaneer (a chocolate based tea) and Persian Nectar (a peach based tea), but you really can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. We also enjoy the Congo Bongo (a coconut tea). They also sell small tins of tea so you can try flavors without breaking the bank.
The customer service is great when you go to the store (we normally buy online). They make recommendations of teas to try when you tell them your preferences. They sell a lot of tea paraphernalia.

Strolling the village streets in the exclusive suburb of Manhasset I was whooshed off the streets by an uncontrollable urge to follow my olfactory senses enticed by the subtle but sinful aromas sneaking out the entrance of SerendipiTea’s charming interiors. The store inside proves to be a Shangri-​La for the senses with its beautifully wrapped canisters, personal teas, and accessories as well as wafts of tea treasures from Hangzhou’s Oolong’s to the deepest ruby Rooibos of India. Don’t miss the beautiful cherry gift boxes, too beautiful to drink!

I used to work in a place that sold Serendipitea in NY, which is where my addiction started. My first love was the «passion and envy» green tea, second was the «fjji». Their blended green teas are the best combinations that I have ever had.
When I moved from NY to Portland, OR my old bosses would send me Serendipitea. Now I just order online every few months. Their sales are
great too. I always find a new favorite tea by picking a sale one out that I haven’t tried.

The only negative: minus one star for expensive prices.
Everything else is positive. I discovered Serendipitea when I was at that asian place on Bleeker and Carmine (Box 45, is it)…looking at their tea list and it was fantastic. So many exotic blends, and they were perfect together. I started off with the Rose Concoction –it had a more sexy name, but it was more or less white tea with roses in it. Delicious. Smooth. Floral. Flagrant.
I proceeded to buy a shit-​ton of the stuff online, at a *nice* pricetag. But it’s so so good. I can sit with cups of that stuff and just relaxxx. I was extremely excited when I found out their store was opening in Manhasset, a town over from where my parents live (chaching: no shipping costs).
Would definitely give this place a whirl if you are a tea connaisseur (or connaiseuse) with a bit of cash in the wallet.

Serendipitea (NY Chocolate Show) — Out of principle, I refused to pay any add-​ons when they already charge you for admission. Grant it, I got in free but still, it’s the principle. I was able to smell what their teas were comprised of and liked what I smelled. They have combos such as the Buccaneer (choco & coconut), Xocalatl Chai (masala chai & choc bits), One Upon a Tea (choco w/​rooibos & mint), and Strawberry Kisses (choco & strawberry fruit blend). You’re welcome for the exposure on Unilocal,especially when you tried to charge me $ 1 to sample your teas, but I’m not bitter, no, not at all.
