History

Established in 1970.

Visions of Manhasset was established by Dr. Julius Kornberg in 1970. He was working for an eye care center in Manhatttan on Madison avenue and wanted to open his own private practice in Nassau county closer to his home. He established himself as one of

premier practitioners in the area for decades. In 2006 he took on an associate, Dr. Peter LaCorte who purchased the practice soon after. Dr. LaCorte and his staff have since grown the practice and continue to successfully serve Manhasset and the surrounding areas.

Business Owner

Dr. Peter LaCorte graduated from SUNY optometry in NYC in 1999. With his optometry

degree, specializing in hard to fit contacts and ocular disease, he became the owner of Visions of Manhasset in 2006.
