Business Owner

Caroline Burke is the lead designer and owner of Caroline Burke Designs & Associates, located in Manhattan Beach, California. Currently, her firm has decorated over 30 homes in the South Bay area.

Caroline grew up in Westfield, New Jersey, and she attended Skidmore College in New York and the London School of Economics in England. After graduating she moved to Manhattan, New York for 10 years. During that time, Caroline worked in the media industry and was the spokesperson for several major companies, including Hewlett Packard, as well as being the on camera talent for many product advertisements. She then attended and graduated the William Esper School of Acting. Her performing career literally took her to cities all over the world including Madrid, Hong Kong, Tai Pei and Los Angeles. It was while she was in Los Angeles that Caroline decided to follow another creative passion … the art of interior design.

I have known and worked with Caroline for several years and it has been a great pleasure! Caroline’s vision and expertise is absolutely amazing. She can create an image in her mind and then translate it into a realistic thing of beauty. I have had the pleasure of doing the flooring on many of her projects and when the project is complete, I marvel at what once was and what now is. Her work is incredible and her and her team are a pleasure to work with. From the selection of the flooring medium, style, color etc., to the end result. Their scheduling and communication creates a seamless, beautiful end result. In my line of work, communication and scheduling are key to success and that is why I truly enjoy working with Caroline Burke Designs and Associates, Inc.

I wanted to do some exterior work on my house to update it and give it a new look. I am the first to admit that I am clueless when it comes to design. Caroline was a life saver. She took one look and came up with the perfect new look for my house. She has a great eye for original design. She selected a beautiful front door, a stain color that would highlight the door and a great contractor to stain the door. New windows, shutters, ornamental iron work and stonework all came together to give my house a unique and personalized look. Everything was also done within my budget. I wanted a «WOW» and with Caroline’s help, I got it.
