As a Realtor, I have had my fair share of experiences with Mortgage Brokers. Denise broke the mold. She is extremely knowledgeable about every possibility a buyer could have in regards to loans– FHA, VA, Conventional. She makes deals that seem like they aren’t going to go through a breeze. She is easily accessible! After closing my first deal with her, I know with confidence I can rely on her expertise to help me with my future deals. It is so refreshing to have a nice, normal mortgage broker that I can actually get on the phone and KNOW my deal is going to close instead of biting my nails. Thank you Denise!

I could not recommend Denise enough! She was an excellent broker that made the pre-​approval and loan process so much easier. Since my fiancée and I were first time home buyers, we really didn’t have too much of a clue of what we were getting into when we were looking into buying a condo. Denise was always quick to respond to all of our questions, explained everything thoroughly, and always made sure I knew what was going on and what kind of papers I needed to get to her.
I’ve heard stories of people having brokers that were incredibly slow to respond, hard to reach, and made the loan process difficult, but Denise was the exact opposite of that. I recently worked with Denise on refinancing my 30 yr FHA loan to a conventional loan in order to remove my mortgage insurance. I had little part during the purchase of my home two years ago but this time I wanted all the details. I didn’t understand this whole refinancing business and why people would choose to do so. But Denise was very willing to explain and ran a whole bunch of numeric scenarios for me to compare and make an informed decision.
She went over 15, 20, and 30 year options using different interests rates available. Apparently you can buy down interests rates. And she ran the same scenarios using various additional monthly payments into the principal to see how much I could speed up the process. She also explained home equity loans to me which wasn’t appealing at the time, but nice to know it’s available if shit goes down.
She was very attentive, descriptive, patient, and looking for my best interest. Emails were responded to within the hour, texts were accepted at all times throughout the day, and she was more than willing to make a house call to help me sign paper work.
So now I’m refinanced, paying just slightly more than what I was originally paying, but I’m on schedule for 20 years instead of 30 with nothing out of pocket. Try it, you got nothing to lose, and might find some interesting options available to you.

I seriously can’t say enough about Denise. I found her on Unilocal after literally trying to get pre-​approved for a home loan for 6+ months somewhere else. I had just had enough of the slow moving process and bad communication I was receiving with my other broker. I had a glitch on my credit report which was supposedly holding things up (until I could get the creditor to fix the reporting mistake) — but come to find out, with Denise, it wasn’t an issue at all.
Working with Denise has been a completely different (and positive!) experience. She is so on top of things, returns calls and emails promptly, and goes way above and beyond. She is helping me take care of the credit issue and got us pre-​approved despite it with no problem. And it only took a matter of days! I wish I would have found her earlier, but am so glad I finally did.
This will be my second home purchase, but I feel like I’ve found my loan broker for life. I’m even going to see what she can do to help me refi the first one.

I was referred to Denise through a mutual friend. I was in the middle of a loan modification and asked her to review my documents to make sure everything looked as it should. She was not only happy to do it, but followed up with me to make sure everything went through ok a couple weeks later — which I really appreciated. We thought it would be impossible to qualify for a home loan but with Denise’s help and determination she made it happen! The process of escrow is no joke and it’s stressful but Denise always had a backup solution for anything they asked for that might have affected us closing. I love Denise! I was looking to refinance my mom’s house and met with a few brokers before a friend finally recommended me to Denise. Denise was able to give my mom the best rate possible and made the process easy. Not only was Denise happy to answer all my questions — and trust me, I had a lot — but she was professional and great to work with. I will be using her when I’m in the market to buy my own home!

I had a heck of a time when financing my current condo — my first broker made a mistake during the process that only revealed itself a day before the closing and then essentially blackmailed me into using him for a refinance so he could pay me back for his mistake.
So when rates dropped and I refinanced again I did my homework and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, it is a bit of a commitment as you enter into the process with a lender/​broker early on and then there are very high switching costs as you get deeper into the process of closing on the house.
I am please to report that not only did Denise offer competitive rates, she was excellent throughout the process. She was knowledgeable about the information she needed (telling me well in advance), she was proactive in telling me all the information she had about projected costs (even very early in the process) and was always available to discuss or explain things in further detail. The whole process was smooth, and I even got a copy of the closing statement prior to tax season with a reminder to use it for my taxes.
I was very pleased with the whole process and I would fully endorse her to anyone looking for a mortgage lender.

Denise is the best! She is so knowledgable and made the process of buying a home for my family easy and fast!
