Tonight is MCHS formal. We also had a basketball game and were rushing to pick up the corsage. We were late and the store was closed. But an employee saw us going to the door and turned her car around to come open it for us. This small business has a giant heart and made all her formal dreams come true. Thank you growing wild! We love you so much! Best flower store in Manhattan Beach!

I’ve been going to growing wild for years. Their customer service is immaculate! Such wonderful energy when I walk into the store! The women are so generous and sweet. Flowers are absolutely gorgeous and they have these amazing free greeting cards with dried flowers on them. Won’t go anywhere else for flowers.

Stopped by on recent visit as they had a fabulous fall display out front! Beautiful and Magical ~ Flowers ~ Displays ~ Holiday gifts!

I called from Temecula, CA around 10:30am for delivery after 3pm to Hermosa Beach. Price was good, delivery was good and person receiving was surprised it was from me for her birthday and gave it a 10.

This is by far the best florist in Manhattan Beach. They worked with me when I wanted to have special arrangements done over the years. I recently had several silk arrangements done and was so happy that I had them design them for me vs. trying it on my own. The store constantly has new products in the store every month which I appreciate for gifts. etc. Keep up the great work!

Growing Wild has such a beautiful selection of flowers, plants, succulents, bamboo trees, wreathes and other decorative items. I know that when I purchase an arrangement here, the recipient always loves it. The staff is friendly and helpful and they also «wrap» the arrangements in a box with tissue, cellophane, and a handmade card free of charge. The owners are local and I try to support small local businesses as much as I can too.

Terrible customer service! And I agree with the other reviewer, when you go in, they do not acknowledge you for a long time, which really comes across as rude.
We’re new home owners in the area and I stopped in during the fall and talked with Andrew about creating a very special arrangement for my foyer. He seemed helpful and said to come back when I was ready to move forward with the project. I liked the idea of patronizing a local business.
So, I called the first week of February to get going, realizing it may not be complete until late in the month. He said he was busy with Valentine’s Day and that I should come in the following week on a specific day when he would be through the holiday and back in the shop. I didn’t want to wait a week to begin, but agreed. I asked if there was a certain time I should come in on that day; he stated, no, that he is always there. I went in on the day he requested and discovered that he had taken the day off. I looked around at plants and containers with the women who was working, but she advised that I really needed to meet with Andrew, apologized for him not being there as scheduled, took my info, and said he would call me. She also stated that he is usually in until 2:00.
Well, I waited for the call, which never came, so I went in to the shop again to meet with him specifically coming in before 2:00. He had left early she said, this time apologizing that he hadn’t called after the last no show. She said to call next time before I come in to ensure he is there.
I couple days later I called in the morning to let them know I was coming in to get moving on this project. I was told Andrew was out to lunch and would be back in 30 minutes. I said I would come in then, when he returned. The women stated that I shouldn’t come in, but instead he would call me when he returned. Over an hour passed, she called back rather than him, said that he had come in early that day and decided to go home at 1:00, maybe I could come in tomorrow!
At this point, I’ve wasted a month trying to do business with this shop and I am done. Their service was frustrating, insulting, disrespectful and just plain rude. I do not recommend Growing Wild to anyone and I look forward to building a relationship with a business that values their customers.

Growing Wild has the most beautiful floral arrangements ever and, to top it off, one can order flowers for same day local delivery! Friendly, lovely service. (By the way, I like receiving flowers from them, too!)

I cannot say enough good things about this florist. Within hours of my call, they sent the most spectacular arrangement to my sister… just home from the hospital. The gentleman who assisted me on the phone was so helpful and kind. My sister said it was the most beautiful flowers (and orchid) she has ever received. I highly recommend them.

Love this place! I was looking for realistic-​looking succulents for our guest room, and they came up with a couple of gorgeous arrangements. Great place for interesting, unusual-​looking arrangements!

Sent flowers to a good friend today who is having a rough time. Phone order service was awesome & super helpful. Told them to put together something that would make my friend smile. They went absolutely over the top. Couldn’t be happier with the friendliness of service and beauty of flowers. My friend even sent me a picture of the flowers and they were perfect. I am not one to write reviews but I felt compelled giving how wonderful the service and product is at Growing Wild. I was in need of a very unique succulent piece. The woman helping me was very patient, asked me questions about what I liked… took notes on the particular succulents I pointed to and created a perfect piece for a very long credenza. Beautiful store with outstanding people to help you!

I had a great experience here. went in to get flowers for my first anniversary. the guy in the store was really helpful. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted and he gave me some great suggestions. I was worried about what flowers would cost in this part of town but he gave me an awesome deal. I will definitely come back here again.

What an amazing store with and incredible amount of variety to their designs! Has a european feel to it and the staff is very helpful!

My husband and I walked in here one day thinking for sure they would be way out of our price range for our wedding. We explained that we were on a budget– and Andrew worked his magic.
The arrangements they came up with were absolutely breathtaking. They also worked with us to help educate us about which flowers could be sacrificed to save on costs but not sacrifice the overall look.
We would highly recommend them to anyone getting married.

Gorgeous, gorgeous flowers… my cousin loves this place and introduced me to it when she brought flowers to my baby shower. The arrangements she ordered were just incredible, and when I ordered from them myself, they were so efficient and helpful. Their website is wonderful as well. It’s nice to have a website option other than ‘1−800-Flowers’. Really impressed with this shop.

I called to get some very specific flowers for a photo shoot. They took my name and information and said they’d have the flowers at 8:30am the following morning, plenty of time for me to get to my 10am photo shoot.
The next morning, no flowers.
And it didn’t seem all that important to them.
Well, at 9 months pregnant with a baby who has been nicknamed «buttercup» for months, having those flowers for my «belly photos» was pretty important to ME. I called a local shop rather than a Big Store thinking my business would matter more to them.
Silly me.
Fortunately, the grocery store down the street had the flowers and the florist there gave me a hug when she saw how happy I was to find my flowers.
So if you need flowers for a time-​sensitive occasion like a photo shoot… birthday… wedding… anything, really, don’t trust this place.

Fantastic Flowers! Very classy floral shop.
I have been going to this flower shop for years and they do great work. They have a really friendly staff with helpful advice. My favorite arrangement is from the Mindful Intention Collection called the Joyous Arrangement.
The shop is really cute, in the heart of Manhattan Beach, 2 blocks from the beach. Next time you are near Manhattan Beach Pier, definitely stop by the shop to see all the arrangements, wreaths, and unique seasonal items they have to offer.
I own a couple of wreaths from over the years and they make excellent family gifts.

I love their new website. I recently ordered a Soft Fall Wreath to spice up our home for the Halloween/​Fall season. Even though we live in sunny Manhattan Beach, I miss seeing the leaves fall off the trees. This wreath helps me recapture my childhood raking leaves in the Midwest. The second item I purchased from the website was my staple Radiant Beauty Collection. Radiant Beauty instantly brightens up my mood and is a nice centerpiece for the island in our kitchen.
