The owner has been teaching the piano for 16 years, and started to provide piano lessons in the city of Manhattan Beach in 2012.

Business Owner

Born in a musical family in Kyoto, Japan, she started to play the piano at the age of 3, performed with Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 8, and has won various awards and scholarships at several auditions and competitions. She moved to United States in 1999 to attend The Cleveland Institute of Music and Illinois State University with full scholarships granted, holds the Bachelors of Music in piano performance and Masters of Music in music therapy. She affiliated in the studios of Yoko Funaoka (expertise on French composers’ work), Izumi Tsumura (active pianist in Japan and Finland), and Daniel Shapiro (expertise on Beethoven). Her life is entirely dedicated to ongoing research about classical repertoires, expertise on Mozart, Brahms, and Ravel. She shifted her style from classical to pops in 2010; recent performance venues include House of Blues and Troubadour.
