The Londoner is now closed at this location. They announced on September 8 that they weren’t renewing their lease, and the last day they were open was September 26. Today when I walked by the place was empty – no mirrors, no sinks, no chairs, no desk, nada. Just paint cans and brooms. So, farewell; nice place, I’ll miss having them in the neighborhood.

Well I booked an appointment online and now I’m sitting in their parking lot writing this review because they are CLOSED.

Got my hair cut and colored here last November with Jessica Morales. She did not do a great job and was not very professional during the time I spent with her. I was displeased with the coloring and my hair was extremely damaged and stripey.
I later wrote a review about my honest experience and the day after she called me to apologize and offer a refund for the ombré. After I spoke with her and received a refund I received numerous texts and calls when I did not immediately change it. Although I was not pleased with my service there, I do appreciate the effort of reaching out to make things right with a client. It was a little aggressive to keep checking on me and accusing me of not keeping my word of adjusting the review while I was at work after only one day but whatever.
Anyways, I appreciate her and the salon giving me a refund of my coloring job because I wasn’t offered that during my time there. But I do think it was somewhat deserved and doesn’t really fix the damage that occurred to my hair after my experience there. They seem to care a lot about what there clients think which I did not see during my last time there, as they immediately reached out to me after I left my review. Which is good obviously. So here I am editing my review after two days of my previous 1 star review being up.
Although my experience with Jessica wasn’t great I had my hair cut at the Londoner before with Brittany and she was amazing. I would highly recommend her.

First timer here & I had an awesome experience! Got a great trim from Vanessa and she gave me a great beach wave hair style… loved it! Great vibe in the salon as well, comfortable & clean! Definitely will be going back!

Vanessa Hassett is awesome. She did such a great job with my hair! Never dyed my hair before, and she was super nice about it. Definitely recommend her as she takes really good care of her customers. Very meticulous about what she does; not one hair will be out of place! This salon has great reviews, but I would definitely say book with Vanessa! :}

I am so impressed by the customer service I receive at this salon and appreciate my talented hair stylist Katrina. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The results are so worth every penny and I look forward to my appointments. I never have to wait any more than 5 minutes and the staff makes sure I am comfortable while I wait. What I love the most are the rave reviews I get from family and friends after my visits to the salon.

Courtnie at the Londoner is reliably awesome for men’s haircuts. After moving to the South Bay I was driving back to Silverlake for my haircuts and was lucky enough to find my new go-​to spot in Manhattan Beach after deciding I didn’t want to keep driving all the way east (LA problems). Courtnie had the perfect mix of listening to what I want when I get my hair cut and knowing what works with my hair. I’d highly recommend her, even if it means it’s going to be even trickier to book with her :)
The rest of the staff are super friendly and I like the overall vibe and aesthetic of the business. High end without being stuffy, and friendly without being over the top. Five stars for sure.

You have to check out the Londoner– I’ve been going to the owner of the salon Anthony Morrison for about 2 years, he literally is my favorite hair stylist I’ve ever been to! Whatever color you want, he can make happen. Here’s a picture of my last color he did!

I’ve been there twice so far. I moved to LA 2 years ago and have been looking for a permanent stylist. I looked through all the stylist descriptions on their website and though Gina looks pretty (probably has good sense of style), specializes in Balayage (which I was interested in), and is an expert stylist.
I made an appt with her and it was cancelled/​moved twice because of her being sick or whatever reason it was and since she only work a few days out of the week, that meant waiting 2 weeks longer for my appt. When I finally got to my appt, it was obvious that she was double booked. She had a client getting her hair washed/​massaged by another lady for about 30 minutes while my haircut was being rushed. I didn’t even get to ask about Balayage. I could tell she felt rushed/​stressed and I felt guilty for the other girl getting a 30 minute hair washing. No apologies from Gina though. After I got home, I realized that my hair on one side was at least an inch longer than the other side! She’s supposed to be an expert stylist, and I paid extra for her! I didn’t bother calling or coming in for her to fix it, I just evened it out myself. (¹⁄₅ stars!)
My second visit was with Katrina, she is a very sweet girl. We definitely talked through what I wanted so that she would get me the perfect haircut. I could tell that she was a newer stylist because she took her time, but I have nothing to complain about. My hair and color turned out exactly like how I wanted. (⁴⁄₅ stars!)

The salon is always clean, the staff is super friendly and always helpful. This is some of the reasons why I wanted to join the Londoner team.

This is a fantastic spot to get a trendy haircut, even for a guy. I got fed up with the poor barber haircuts I would get from the typical places so I thought I would try a more upscale place and happily found this.
The staff is very friendly and always offer you some water, coffee or tea as you wait.
I’ve had the pleasure of having Courtnie as my hair stylist for the last year or so and she always does an awesome job, even during those times when I’m not really sure what I want (which is pretty often I’ll admit; I’m a dude, I just want a good cut with as little thought as possible). I always get compliments from friends and girls now about how good I look; it’s so fresh, sometimes I’ll be asked if I’m an actor. I’m coming for you RDJ watch yourself. Come here for Courtnie and she’ll turn you into a superstar. You’ll get the double-​take at work as people struggle to recognize you.
Courtnie is the perfect hair stylist as well. She is down to earth and will chat with you, but also when you are feeling a bit tired there’s room for silence. She is always focused on the hair and she keeps it professional.
If you are a straight guy like me and want a cooler look, this is the place to get your cut. Totally worth the price.

I’m getting married in one week and had died my hair so many times. I was disappointed that my hair color had faded and came to Londoner to fix it. Britney took great care of me and my hair color came out beautiful. I’m so glad I came here and saw Britney! I haven’t normal hair color back and I will feel so beautiful on my wedding day.
Kimberly also did my sister’s hair and she is really happy with it as well. You’ll be in good hands if you’re here!

I had made an appointment on a whim here after the hair dresser I had been going to stood me up. I called and told the receptionist what I was looking for and she set me up with Britney for a color and cut later that day. Initial impressions of the salon exceeded my expectations. The salon is clean, beautiful and tastefully decorated. Everyone was really nice and cordial, and I was helped right away.
The color and cut from Britney was on par and I’m super satisfied. I had brought pictures just to make sure we were on the same page. and she was so easy to talk to, I felt like I’ve known her forever. I could tell Britney was confident with her cut technique (the worst feeling is when you know they’re not sure and you see your hair in between their fingers ready to cut!). cut came out fabulous, and the color also came out fantastic!
Pros– nice atmosphere, friendly staff, clean & beautiful
Con– Pricey– I was little shocked at the price. I may have to stretch a little more time in-​between my visits. but overall I was very satisfied and will be back.

I came here for my birthday on March 13^th, and I have to say, that this is by far, the best haircutting/​styling appointment I have ever had. And I’ve been to MANY salons before. The receptionist was friendly and attentive, the owner came out and greeted me himself (really awesome gentleman!), and I was extremely lucky to have Katrina work on my crazy head of unruly hair! She is enthusiastic and genuinely interested in her craft, as evidenced with my experience. I got the royal treatment, and my hair was dying for it! She listened to my needs and suggested we go a little lighter and added some highlights, and get a trim. She is the only person I will ever trust my hair with again.
Listen guys, seriously, go get your hair done by Katrina. She is wise and knows her stuff. She has her techniques on lockdown, knows color by continuously taking classes to perfect her knowledge, and is overall an amazing person to be around. When I came back to my office here in the Bay Area after my weekend in LA, people couldn’t stop freaking out over my new hair. I’m telling you, she is a magician. THE REAL DEAL! The color turned out beautifully as did the cut, and the products she used are from the B&b line. Super gentle and wonderful on my hair.

Today I stepped into the Londoner salon for the very first time. Parking was easy, and finding the salon was not a problem. When you enter the salon you will instantly be greeted with a warm welcome. I was offered a cup of coffee, tea, water, etc multiple occasions.
My new favorite woman in the world is Jessica. She is the fabulous lady who colored, cut, and styled my long locks! She has a wonderful attitude and is really fun to talk with! She was immaculate when highlighting my hair. She really took her time and paid attention. I have naturally boring, frizzy, curly, dark brown hair and Jessica transformed it into bombshell hair! She gave it movement and body, and the color was spot on.
I really feel like I was given an extremely fair quote for the amount of work that Jessica did. Honestly, I would have paid double what I paid today (for that quality of work)! It’s fair to say I’ve found my permanent stylist. If you’re considering sprucing up your look, go see Jessica at the Londoner salon.

Probably the best hair experience ever. It was my first time there and I came in taking a risk hoping they were going to be able to do my hair exactly the way I want it for a special event. I found them here on Unilocal.And guess what? They did better than I thought or expected. Definitely coming back. Owner did my hair and did a fantastic job. Everyone loved it and I loved it above all. He definitely isn’t boring either. Kept me entertained with talks about celebrities and music.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I’ve been meaning to write a review. I stupidly had let my friend highlight my hair, I have dark brown hair, and the highlights were practically white! Through I referral, I decided to come to Lucy.
Lucy’s attention to detail is immaculate and her patience can put any hair worry at ease! She truly listens to what I want and sincerely cares about her customer experience. Her color correction on me was beyond anything I could have dreamed! It’s so nice to find a stylist I trust! I look forward to out appointments, and my hair is as healthy and beautiful as ever!
