Manhattan Postal Center

Came in for a passport photo and to mail my documents, the staff was super knowledgeable and I was in and out without a problem! Great service, exceptionally nice people, will be coming back soon!

I have been coming here for 5 years and have always been very happy with my service until today. An older woman with a very sour disposition «helped» me. I had 2 items to mail — both returns. I did not have mailing envelopes. The first one had a pre-​paid label. She affixed this to an envelope, which I knew I would pay for, placed my items on the envelope, and sealed it. The second one had a pre-​printed label. She placed my items in another envelope, sealed it, and proceeded to weigh and figure out the cost. Once I realized the cost of shipping, I told her I changed my mind and would rather exchange to the store for credit. She got upset and proceeded to tape the pre-​printed label with packaging tape to the sealed envelope. Then told me so would need to pay for the envelope. At this point, I was very upset at her attitude. While I would gladly have paid for the envelope had I used it, I asked her why she sealed it and then proceeded to use packaging tape to affix a label to it AFTER I already told her I would not be mailing it. She should not even have sealed it to begin with, but even if she had left it sealed WITHOUT then packaging taping a label, I would still have paid for the envelope since so could re-​use it. I told her I would not pay for an envelope which she had rendered unusable. She then yelled at me and told me she would not mail my first package. Which had a pre-​paid label and I would have paid for the envelope. She then proceeded to cut open both packages, cut off the labels, and throw everything at me. I have never been treated this way at a place of service. She should be fired for her attitude and extremely poor customer service. There was a much better way to handle the whole situation which would have resulted in me paying for both envelopes. Instead, I will NEVER come here again, and warn any customers about bad attitude and bad customer service from the older woman. The new owner needs better management.

Wonderful customer service. Steve and Doris have helped me so much with mountainous paperwork when I had a business problem. Good spot to grab a card or last minute gift.

Priority flat rate at post office is $ 5.60. They change over $ 9. I asked and was told the mark up is because they have to stand in line at the post office. What? Will not be shipping here.

Fantastic, friendly and knowledgable staff. They walked me through getting my passport photo and application in minutes. Super friendly staff that strive to give excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place!

I have my PO BOX here. They’re great at dealing with all of my
Mail and packages. It’s nice that they are an actual building and I can have my online shipping sent here. They have the best customer service. Very sweet people!

The only con, is the parking lot is very tiny and its off Sepulveda which can be a pain to pull out onto at busy times.
I’m sad that I moved so far away and haven’t found another goto place.

Fantastic customer service! It can be very confusing sending mail and getting things notarized but Doris and her staff made everything easy. Helped every step of the way. Full service with postage boxes, notary, large size printing, color copies, passport photos etc! Don’t drive too fast or you’ll miss the entrance on PCH directly across Ralph’s and Citibank.
Been to many different postage and notary businesses, this is the place to go for friendly service, fair prices and all postal needs.
Definitely recommend!

Thank you Steve, Doris and Sara for coming through every print and postal emergency I’ve had since I found you. You know you’re with good people when they try to make it better when things have gone wrong. I had to laminate some photographs today. After laminating there were air bubbles that had gotten trapped in it and the photos were ruined. Sara and Steve worked patiently to help me reprint the photos, reformat (which in itself is a painstaking process) then laminated the pictures again a second time, this time successfully. Thank you for being so patient and persevering with it. It wasn’t a big job, so even more impressed by their patience and professionalism. We’re so lucky to have you in our neighborhood!

Steve and Doris are two of the most nicest people! Very friendly and attentive and willing to do anything to get the job done. They have fast turnaround and quality items!

Went in an got my document notarized within 3 minutes, faxed my documents, and was out in 5 minutes total! Very helpful staff, and nice to be able to get many different things done at one location. I’ll be back!

Whenever I come into the Manhattan Postal Center, I am greeted with a friendly staff that can answer all my shipping questions in a helpful demeanor. I don’t do that much shipping for my work, but when I do, I trust them to handle my packages with care and professionalism. Steve, and the rest of the people that work there, know how to take care of a customer. To which I say, thank you very much! Great job. Keep it up.

I have maintained a mailbox here for many years for my business ventures. The owner, Steve, runs a very tight ship and is extremely personable and easy-​going.
But everyone who works here is exceedingly professional and helpful, particularly Marilyn and Doris. Over the years they have helped me pack and ship all sorts of items. Yes, it is going to be a bit more expensive than if you packed it yourself and took it straight to UPS. But you pay for the convenience and the excellent service they offer here.

This person was amazing, I had 6 docs in total to be notarized, he made a bundle of 3 each and gave a authorization copy for the same. I saved 40 bucks. He takes 10 bucks for each signature which is awesome.
Better than other travel notaries who take the same or more charges plus travel charges. I highly recommend this place.

If I could give 0 stars i would. I’ve been to this place several times because its on my way home but I’m done.
The customer service is not great and most of all they’re not very knowledgeable about USPS priority service AWFUL!!!
Skip this place, just go to a regular UPS or have USPS pick up your packages…

Awesome staff here! Everyone was so friendly. I had the pleasure of working with Steve who provided me assistance with some fingerprinting. He knew I was short on time and provided me with friendly, accurate, and timely service. Would definitely come back here for any of the services they provide!

My client and I decided to meet here to have some legal papers notarized. Steve treated us with dignity, respect, courtesy and generosity. He made sure that everything went smoothly and was able to accomodate the needs of my disabled client.

After having my Canadian passport application returned because Walgreens didn’t take the passport pictures to the correct measurements, I turned to Unilocal to find someone legitimate. The reviews for Manhattan Postal Center were so great that I decided to stop in. I walked in to find Steve welcoming me with a big smile. Come to find out he’s also Canadian so he was ready to help me get the pictures right this time!
The postal center is clean and seems to have anything you could ever need for shipping. They even have a system where you input the passport country and it’ll ensure that the image meets the measurement requirements.
I was so happy with my experience at Manhattan Postal Center and definitely recommend this place to anyone!

WOW is this place CLEAN! I think this is the prettiest postal service store I’ve ever seen. Its very neat and organized, and really is a pleasure to go to. The people that work there are SUPER nice, and do what they can to help your needs. They always try to find you the best deals in terms of shipping your package, and also take the time to inspect your package to make sure your goods will not be damaged.
The store also has a lot of cute little knick knacks as well… stuffed animals, etc…
