I had gone through quite a few meh GPs before finding Dr. Lui, and can not say enough good things about her. Her bedside manner is beyond reproach; you genuinely feel like she cares about you… not only your physical health but your mental health too. She sits with you and gives you her undivided attention. With other doctors you often feel rushed, like they want to process you as quickly as possible and move on to the next patient. Not with Dr. Lui. And despite the personal attention she gives her patients, I never have to wait long in the waiting room to see her… her appointments always run on time. Her office staff is really friendly (and funny!) too. Highly recommend Dr. Lui!

Dr. Lui is fine as long as you’re just going to her for standard, textbook medical issues. If not, she’s worthless. I had been exhibiting flu symptoms for over a month, severe enough that I was starting to miss work. I went to Lui, who said it was a lingering cold. When the symptoms continued for another month, I went back. She ran tests. When she called with the results, all she said was, «The tests came back negative. Bye,» and hung up! She didn’t offer suggestions, tell me what my next course of action should be, or discuss, well, anything. I had to call back to find out what else I should do. She said I could try some specialists. I had to ask what kind. She rattled off a few, then started to hang up. I had to talk fast to keep her on the line long enough to get some referrals. The next time, I went in for a UTI, and it was the same thing: the tests came back negative, good-​bye! Thanks, but it still burns when I urinate. In both instances, she treated me with a polite but cool detachment, as though I were wasting her time. I don’t expect doctors to be gods who know everything, but I do expect them to advise and not to treat you as an inconvenience. As I said, she’s fine if you just need her for the basics, and I had no problem with her when I just went to her for annual physicals and flu shots, but as soon as I came in with anything odd, she had no use for me. I will not be going back ever again.

Dr. Lui has been my primary care physician for about 8 years. She is friendly, thorough, and very competent. I have had nothing but positive experiences.

Dr. Maria Lui is a wonderful doctor who is highly focused on the needs and well-​being of her patients. She is kind-​hearted, calm and always very patient. My wife, four children and myself have been seeing Dr. Lui for many years and we are thankful we have her as our primary care family doctor.

Absolutely the Best, Dr Lui is attentive, never rushes and always listens, knowledgeable, thorough and always appears to enjoy what she does! My family and I have been going to her for 10 years or so, we absolutely this physician. Same great care for everyone you will not be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lui for years, together with my whole family. She always gives me her full attention and listens closely and then uses all her knowledge to diagnose my problems. She is kind and gentle and sweet and despite of the medical problems I have, it is a pleasure to be there. The staff is also polite and courteous.
I regret loosing my PPO insurance and not being able to go to her office any longer.

Dr. Lui is top notch! She is thorough and takes her time and really listens. By taking the time with my situation she was able to make a diagnosis that never would have happened if she was in a hurry. It saved me time, lots of needless tests and plenty of money — and I felt better quicker! My whole family has moved to her practice.

What can I say… I love Dr. Lui! She’s the first doctor I’ve been 100% completely comfortable and happy with, in fact her bedside manner is hands down the best I’ve had in any doctor since I was a little kid. I’ve never had a problem booking an appointment with her, although I do know she books up pretty fast. She’s very gentle and detailed. I’ve recommended many of my friends to see her.
