I purchased a Groupon for a facial and massage. I had a very good experience! Very friendly customer service! Ashley did my massage and she was amazing. She asked if the pressure was good and she would ask what I want her to focus on. Rachel did my facial and she also did an amazing job. I felt the products (Aveda) she used on my skin was soothing and refreshing. They offered me another Groupon deal for the same price when I left, so I took the offer because I had a great experience. Definitely recommend people to come to this place.

The first time I went to this Salon I loved it. The massage and facial were great. The people were friendly and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Fast forward to a year later and a completely new staff… I scheduled a massage and facial for my birthday. When making the appointment I was told I needed to give them my credit card info to hold the reservation, it wouldn’t be charged until I go, unless I don’t show up without canceling, then there would be a $ 10 fee. Ok no problem with that.
The next day after making my Appointment I checked my banking info because I was going on a birthday vacation and wanted to make sure things were in order. I seen a charge for a restaurant that I hadn’t gone too. After investigating the situation and the restaurant being extremely helpful, we were able to trace the charge back to the salon. The charge was a phone order so the delivery guy gave the salon address as where he delivered the order and the staff member had signed for the charge.
I had to cancel my bank card the night before my vacation and it threw a wrench in the whole trip.
They tried to deny it at first but then admitted it by blaming another employee.
The is my first review because I don’t care to throw out my opinion out there, but it pissed me off scrolling through groupon and seeing this place. They are crooks and identity thieves.

After being warmly greeted by Jada as I walked in the door of this little Manhattan Beach gem, I was quickly whisked away by an esthetician to an hour of calming bliss.
Karen lavished all of her skin care knowledge on me through a signature facial and plant peel.
My clearing, glowing and improving-​every-​day skin, is wondering when it gets to go back for another!

I came here for a facial and a Swedish massage as an anniversary gift from my hubby. It was a groupon deal. Rachel did my facial for an hour and Ashley did the massage. Facial was good and I looked bright after doing it. Ashley did a great job. She was amazing. Massage went for an hour and it was so relaxing and at the end of the day I felt lite and great.
I would definitely visit again. When I was in the reception waiting for my hubby to pick me, there was a women done with her haircut. She looked great. I saw her before the haircut and after this I could see the difference. They have all experienced therapist and stylist. Ppl there are so nice and warming that they care for our interests and likings.
The place was so nice and tidy. I would strongly recommend others to visit this place.

I was gifted a groupon for my birthday back in May and it was about to expire. I called 3 weeks ago, and they were sweet enough to redeem my groupon and schedule me for a later date.
I arrived to Lisz Dom and had my signature facial and massage scheduled back to back.
Rachel was the esthetician who did my facial. AMAZING! she stated with warm steam & a sensory check to find out which product appealed best to my senses. I really appreciated that because the scent of the product wouldn’t distract me if I enjoyed it.
She was great at checking in every time she used a steam towel, and did a series of gentle massages with facial products, and included a gentle back, arms, and hands massage.
Next was my massage with Anthony. I have never had a male masseuse, so I was a bit nervous. He asked me my areas of need and told me a bit of his background in Sports Medicine. He told me that if he felt the need to work on my back for the majority of the time, he would. I didn’t mind one bit, because I carry ALL of my stress on my upper back and neck. He mentioned that it was indeed the case, and was causing tightness in my lower back as well. The entire hour, Anthony focused on breaking down tension in my entire back.
It wasn’t your typical «relaxing» Swedish massage. (So if you want a gentle touch, I would make sure to specify that.)
I didn’t mind one bit! With the amount of tension I have on my back, I appreciated having someone knowledgable to know what my body needed.
Anthony did a great job at incorporating his knowledge to meet my needs.
I then came out, where Anthony explained the need for me to drink water with possible soreness for the next two days. I came out feeling like melted butter!!!
The receptionist and other woman who seemed to be the owner, greeted me and asked me of my experience. They were so sweet!
Also, a BONUS… You can pay your tip with card!
I will definitely be going back! I want to make it a monthly pampering habit.

Excellent massage, really welcoming environment and staff. Loved it! Would absolutely go back and recommend to others.

I am a professional fighter that was completely sidelined by a low back injury in February. I came to Dr. Schertz office barely able to walk. Now, about 4 months later I am almost back to 100% and have since signed a contract to fight for a championship belt. The speed of my recovery is directly related to the amazing care I received from Dr. Schertz and his staff. I also highly recommend getting a massage from Jamie. Her hands are magic and skills are extremely therapeutic. You won’t be disappointed!

I wish I could give them the proper 0 star in which this place deserves. All they are looking for is money and could care less about customer service. They are EXTREMELY rude and rip people off for their money. Trust me when I say, DO NOT GO HERE.

In just 45 minutes, Vanessa can take your unruly hair and create a chic style. A blowout was performed on Cynthia.
The staff was courteous and professional.

Fabulous facial by Jessica– reasonable prices and wonderful Aveda products used here. I have been here before and the facial by Jordan and the massage were both great then as well. I’ll be back again for sure!

Angela did a great job on my highlights and cut. I’m a mom and don’t have time to maintain my hair and it’s been about 4 months since I have done anything special for myself. Angela balayaged my highlights giving me a very natural blend of highlights along with a super cute bob haircut. I was handed a glass of wine right away and given a hand massage as well as conditioning scalp treatment. They use all Aveda which I love as well. Angela did exactly what I had wanted and then some :)

All I have to say is ANGELA is the BEST!!! My hair was incredibly damage from over processing and she completely saved it and for that I’m 100% grateful for her… Thank You Angela!!!

I first heard of this place through a groupon my mother-​in-​law purchased for me. I was excited to get the facial and massage combo, which on the groupon says it must be used in the same visit. I booked both for the same day, and then a day later the receptionist called and said they couldn’t do both in the same day. (even though it says the opposite on the groupon).
I was able to book it several weeks out and get the facial and massage on the same day, and had an awesome experience with Ty. She was amazing and gave me a wonderful facial. My massage was ok — Cameron was very rough and had a hard time not pulverizing my muscles, even after I said I preferred a lighter touch and asked him to be more gentle. It was downright painful at times, not to mention the fact that he would stop entirely for a minute to check his phone. He was also a bit chatty, which is friendly and a little bit here and there is ok, but I was trying to relax.
They had a deal where I could get the same price if I bought the same package again that day, and since I had such a wonderful experience with Ty, I decided to give them another shot. When I booked the 2^nd one, they booked me with a different woman for the facial and I specifically requested Ty again. When it came time for the massage I politely asked for a female therapist, so as to avoid Cameron’s blows. They asked how my experience was with Cameron and without trying to throw him under the bus, I explained that I really enjoy a much lighter, relaxing, massage and despite my requests, Cameron could not lighten up on my poor back.
They booked me with a woman instead and I got excited about giving them another chance. My facial with Ty again was delightful and when I returned downstairs to go to my massage, Cameron is standing behind the counter and asking me if I’m ready. Much to my shock, I said no I was confirmed with a woman for today. The receptionist said «oh with the groupon it has to be with the same person you originally booked with» and 1. that isn’t specified anywhere 2. why not tell me that on the phone when I booked and I would cancel my groupon 3. you tried to book me with a different woman for the facial, so why wouldn’t it be the same for both then?
I was full of adrenaline and felt really taken advantage of, not at all relaxing or excited.
Stupidly, I gave them a final chance because I liked Ty’s services so much. After a few months I returned for another facial, again specifically requesting Ty and hoping to God that the bimbo behind the counter had moved on to a job more suited for her capacity. I booked a facial with Ty, confirmed it with the receptionist and then 2 days later received a call that we would have to reschedule because she doesn’t work that day. I make another appointment for 3 weeks in advance and confirm that that day is in fact with Ty. She says yes, and calls the day before the appointment to confirm the time, date and esthetician is Ty.
Much to my surprise when I walk in, Ty is doing hair and only does facials during the week. When I asked the receptionist why she confirmed with me yesterday, she lies and was like I said with Rachel, not Ty. This was after she called to reschedule my appointment with Ty. How hard is it to make and keep appointments at a small spa?
Rachel did a great job, but my 60 minute facial lasted 46 minutes and started 10 minutes later than my appointment. On top of that they tried to say I had to pay an additional $ 15 for an upgrade, when she never mentioned any additional cost.
Unfortunately I will never go back and will warn all of my friends not to go unless they;‘re willing to play the roulette game with who you will get, how long it will last and how much you’ll be charged.
Note to the owner: read the reviews about people complaining about your receptionists/​office staff and perhaps you won’t have to discount your services to get people in the door.

I bought a massage groupon voucher for my boyfriend. He was hesitant about it, but the staff was friendly and welcoming making him feel comfortable. Desire the young lady in front area was very helpful and made me feel comfortable in waiting area while my bf had his massage. My boyfriend got his massage by Anthony and he was happy with his massage. Unfortunately we arrived 20 mins late so they began his session late and ended it at time it should have. Sucks, but understandable bc they’re on a schedule and it wouldn’t be fair for the next appointment. Oh and we even had a glass of delicious red wine!
I ended up purchasing a groupon deal for me for a massage and facial so I will be going again. But while I was there Desire was helpful and had the lady that does facials speak with me. She was super nice and entirely answered my questions about facials. I’ll update and maybe even up the stars after I give them a try.

While I was driving I told my mom to cancel the reservation, which was in my name, and to specify we had 2 groupings. I get a call today from a «Manager» named Erin saying that b/​c I didn’t cancel within 24hours she had to redeem my Groupon. Which is bullshit b/​c it doesn’t say in the groupon AND I DID CANCEL! She states that my mother didn’t specify. Which brings up the question– is she calling her a liar? She politely replied no, and that she apologizes.
Too late, refund is in process. Believe all of the mean Unilocal reviews about this place.

This was my 3^rd time at the salon. I purchased a groupon for a massage and facial. I have to say that I am basing my review on my last experience. My 1^st massage was just ok. He was nice enough, but I could tell he was a bit unexperienced. The massage just didn’t flow very well. Upon leaving my tip, they informed me they were running a ‘Just For You’ massage special for $ 35.00 and thought why not. I will just try another masseuse.
The 2^nd time I came for my facial and was not impressed at all. I actually looked at the clock before starting and when we finished, she was 20 minutes short of a 60 min facial. I don’t think I will be getting another facial there. I can understand someone being new to an industry, but shaving time off a service is not acceptable.
My 2^nd massage was AMAZING!!! Summer is an absolute gem. I swear the woman is gifted. She has loyal client from here on out. I will absolutely visit her once or twice a month, special or no special. Summer is my hero.
Overall the experience with the front desk has been great. Everyone has thus far been warm, kind and professional. I haven’t experienced anything close to what other Unilocalers have described.

My friend and I bought groupons for massages. We originally had planned a girls day and booked a Friday appointment, we got a call back saying our appointment had been cancelled because of a scheduling conflict with one of the therapists. We finally rescheduled our massages and I have to say Cameron was great I had a knot in my lower back (i work with computers all day) which Cameron was able to take care of. I can’t say enough great things about Cameron he really listens to your massage concerns.
The reason I didn’t give five stars is three fold, While my massage was great my friend’s massage with another therapist was not as great, scheduling is a bit of a challenge, I also had a facial that I scheduled for later and on the day of I got a call asking to push the appointment forty-​five minutes. The last thing is the massage rooms aren’t very well insulated, you can hear everything that is going on in the other areas of the salon which could be distracting for some.
Overall, I was very happy with my massage and will be back to see Cameron again, I also liked the fact that even though we had groupons we could put our tips on our credit cards, which is great if you are cash challenged like myself.

Quinn is an excellent hair stylist. I recommend her because she is wonderful and I love my hair!
BUT!!!
The salon itself is extremely unprofessional. One of the managers there insulted me multiple times and made me feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. It was a terrible experience and I will never go back again.

I got a Groupon for Christmas for the 60 minute facial.
Rachel is so good at what she does. She was professional and personable. She made sure I was very comfortable. The upper body massage with the facial were stellar. My skin felt softer and clearer soon after.
The receptionist was great too. I had questions about the services and she answered all of my questions. Hopefully, I’ll be able to come back soon for hair services. It’s a bit far from my home but worth the drive.
