Red Carpet Car Wash

I’m giving red carpet 5 stars because of their customer service.
I went in yesterday afternoon to get my car washed. I paid $ 30 and tipped the guys 20% only to find out they did such a crappy job. Carpets were barely vacuumed, smudges every where, dash not wiped down, streaks on windshields etc. etc. when I called to speak to the manager Jose, he was very apologetic and asked if I could come in first thing this morning. So I did. He took great care of me and definitely rectified the situation. They rewashed my car and even did a wax job on it. I also tipped the man who redid my car because it wasn’t his fault his coworkers the day before did a crappy job. My brand new car looks so sparkly and amazing! I am a very very happy girl. For those who get less than great service, red carpet will rewash your car for free. I’ll definitely be going back thanks to Jose’s great customer service.

Superb service and even better results! Met with Joe, he fixed some dings on my car, buffed, waxed and washed all within 1 hour. The car looks just like the day we got it from the dealership 3 years ago. Highly recommended and super convenient location. Will recommend to all my friends.

I used to wash my car on a regular basis (once a week), but now with the drought I don’t wash it with the same frequency. I used to have a «membership» here. Used to. That was a while back. The last time I was there I received less than stellar service and then the drought hit. I remember I would point out that they forgot the tire dressing or the scent. They didn’t seem to care that they missed a spot here or there. I’d say something and they would pretend to not hear me and walk away.
It was my fault for not complaining. I was usually in a rush so… that’s on me.
I hadn’t been there in over a year. I decided to see if they had «cleaned» up their act. Nope. I left with a less than clean interior and dirty passenger side windows. They also forgot to give me the scent I asked for.
It took about 40 minutes, which for a Saturday is pretty good. I overheard a few customers complaining to the gentlemen cleaning their cars that they had missed the entire back side of the passenger side. How do you miss that? The worker seemed peeved and insulted that someone called them out of shoddy work. I get it. The pay sucks and you work mostly for tips. I get it. If you depend on tips then maybe doing a better job might increase those tips. I won’t be going back, regardless of the drought.

I really do not understand how this place is always packed. The place right by Deitz Brothers is so much better, and it’s cheaper. I just went there today because I really needed a car wash and the one by Deitz is closed today. So I went here. I had a bunch of quarters in my center console. There were a bunch. And then there were about eight lined up in a row. I thought for sure if they were going to take my quarters they would at least be smart and take the ones that weren’t lined up. But no, they took the ones lined up, and left two of them. Like if you are going to do that at least be sly about it. The fact that they clearly grabbed the easiest ones to grab just really makes me wonder what else they probably take. When I went here today, I was hoping that my precious thoughts about them would be changed, but I guess I should of trusted my first feelings about them. Never again! Also! When I called to complain the lady put me on hold for three minutes then just hung up on me. Not cool! Rude!

The staff at Red Carpet couldn’t take better care of my car! I live in Culver City, but when I’m in Manhattan Beach, I make a point to stop here so my car can get a little TLC. Jose always remembers me and greets me with a warm smile and a continuation of our last conversation. And when I drive away, my 8 year old car looks brand new! Seriously, people comment on my shiny and sparkling ride after a trip to Red Carpet! Be sure to add this place to your list!

First of all Joe Maisano is a wizard! He had fixed two dents for me ! I really don’t know how he does it? His work is miraculous, he fixed my right and left door panels on two of my cars already! I will recommend red carpet to anyone! Their washes are good and the dent repair is amazing! He saved me tons of money and he is a nice dude!

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and I have nothing but great things to say. I bought an unlimited monthly package and you can’t beat the value. I take my car a few times a week since I have an all black vehicle that is parked outside most of the time and the beach air/​dust gets the better of it. No matter how busy they are, they are smiling and happy to see you and always positive. Jose, Isidro and Jesus are only a few of the names I know off hand who are always doing a great job. My car always comes out looking brand new! Plus, free coffee in the waiting area!

Good: great military discounts (50% off when in uniform)
Bad: don’t expect a clean car when they’re done «washing» it.

Not sure why I keep going here. It takes 20 minutes for a wash and crappy detail that I pay $ 30. I may as well do it myself. Seriously I’m annoyed. Plus they trick you into which package to buy! You think you’re just getting the inside when you actually get the most expensive one and they already start so you have no choice. It’s brutal I’ll never go again.

This place has gone down hill so fast and so far down hill. I would never get my car washed here again. Sad because this place was a staple of my childhood but now as seen by how few cars are here and all the old long time employees are gone.
They Do Not honor the complimentary car wash on your birthday any longer! I looked forward to this every year.

I had issues with them before, I just had my car painted after an accident. Unknowing that the body shop I use used this car wash, they took my car there for a quick wash, the wash was terrible, the employee used vulgar language and smacked my car multiple times as I was backing up and the way they parked my car back was the only way to go, he also told me to «watch where the fuck I was going.”(because he had his bucket on the floor in an empty space.) Long story short, my body shop had to buff and polish the portion, (I now have 3 chips in the paint.) on the quarter panel he smacked three times. Coincident? I think not… This is a bullshit place I have given Alex multiple chances and it’s something new every time this place is a joke!

The management in this car wash insane, they raise the monthly car wash from $ 40 a month to $ 100 a month, they are out of there mind.

I really think the only reason this car wash got bad reviews is because people are super picky. My car was clean and dried well and they remembered to vaçcume my car. They have a lot of space to sit outside and they are super quick. The basic car wash is like 18 $. It’s a little expensive, but they do a better job then the self drive through washes.

I like this car wash, largely because they support military! There have been a few times where they have left a lot of water spots on my car and I’ve never really made it a big deal. I actually got a supreme pkg monthly plan and it’s been very beneficial. A couple times of I did notice I wasn’t getting some of the triple foam wax and sealer wax the pkg comes with. Or even the tire dressing and I’ve had to tell the guy to add it.
Today I took my girlfriend ‘s suv in, I asked the sales representative (his name is Alamillo according to the receipt), I’m assuming is his title how much is military discount and he said he didn’t know and to ask the lady in front. To me I think that’s important to know especially if you’re the rep selling the car washes.
When my GFs suv went through the triple foam wax and sealer wax didn’t turn on. So naturally I told the the sales rep (Alamillo) and his response was «oh come on!» As if I was asking to much for him to run my suv through the AUTOMATIC car wash again! Lol. Well he told one of his guys to run it again which I’m happy he did. But don’t act like its a burden that I tell you I didn’t get what I paid for. Don’t rip off your customers. This place started out as a great business but I slowly see the shortcuts they are taking and that’s not good business.

Big fat no. I paid for a wash and hand wax for my suv. It was the worst ever. It’s normally 49.99 I paid 39.99 and else where is 19.99. There were smear marks everywhere. And I mean it. The body, outside windows, inside windows, and «detailing» otherwise my dashboard had smears. They didn’t even vacuum. No attention to detailed whatsoever.
The worst part is I have leather seats and after I drove off I saw scuff marks on the seat. Wtf?! That’s rough! It looks as though someone with sharp nails scratched my seat. Highly unacceptable. Unprofessional. Negligent.
Avoid this place. This was the worst experience ever.
The only positive thing I can say is with the high prices it’s nice they can afford a koi pond, massage tech, and clean floors.
And their monthly prices are ridiculous. Don’t waste your money.

Gave them another chance — not again. Like last time, the interior was half assed.
For some reason, they parked my car over in the «VIP» section. The VIP section is completely out of sight of the waiting area. So I did not hear them say my car was ready, nor could I see my car until I got fed up with how long it took and went to find it. When I asked why my car was parked away from all the other cars, and completely out of sight from the waiting area, I got two rude responses.

This place is amazing. Best car wash I’ve ever been to.
Jose, Isidro and all the guys take really good care of their customers. My car always leaves clean, but the customer service I receive, is legendary.
Plus there is free coffee. Good coffee.
The best deals are the monthly packages. TOTALLY worth it.

Ok, so I am right now pretty fed up with Red Carpet Car Wash!!! I tried to get the birthday wash and they said I now have to sign up for the newsletter; fine, but it didn’t work. I got this lame message that «We’re sorry but you have exceeded the promotions (sic) maximum participation limit.» WTH is that supposed to mean? Then it offered a form to fill out to contact them and that didn’t work either! Then I clicked on «Contact Us,» filled out ANOTHER form and got the same error message! What a bunch of lame brains! And it appears that they don’t read their Unilocal reviews either.

Exterior looked nice, except when wiping it down. I’m still drying off water back at my house. Then I realized they didn’t oil up the floor mats when vacuuming nor did they vacuum in the trunk.
Not a great job today. With so many car washes in the South Bay, I might have to try a new one.
