I really love this location. I grew not too far from here and I remember going next door to BN sitting all day reading books/magazine(back when they still had couches and chairs). I can always find ample parking, great customer service, and products I need. I just hate that every time I try something new, within a few months its discontinued. They also have a great selection of flowers :)

Super nice staff! It’s located near a Bev Mo, Office Depot, Old Navy, Costco, and Staples all you pretty much need in a day’s worth of groceries:) The north part of Manhattan Beach is pretty close 2.3 miles drive down Rosecrans:) After groceries spending a beautiful evening on the beach relaxing seeing the sunset is nice!

If you happen to shop at This Trader Joe’s don’t checkout in the line of a cashier name Abraham. He talks to long to the customers and shows no concern about those that are waiting in his line.

The least inadequate parking of any trader joes I have seen. Good product availability. Fast checkout. Best TJs in the area.

We love this Trader Joe’s! We just need to avoid the crowded times to shop there. Decent number of parking, however there are number of other stores near by so you just need to avoid the rush hour for grocery shopping. This TJ is bigger than the other locations near by and because it is bigger, they have more items and aisles are bigger to move around. Just avoid going there at rush hours… Sunday and Monday afternoons. Otherwise, this place is great!

Checkout is incredibly slow. Workers don’t seem to be in any rush to speed things up.

I just happened to be down in this neighborhood, and needed a quick salad before a soon to be appointment two blocks away. Parking was easy(when I was there), customers were courteous, employees as friendly as ever. All in all, I love the vibe of the southbay, and this TJ lines up with my city perceptions.

I like this Trader Joe’s because it has a huge parking lot and the employees are super friendly and accommodating. It’s a pretty standard TJ’s but it’s great not to have to fight to get in there.

Nice Trader Joes. Employees are always nice. They have some of my favorite TJ projects here, specifically the trailmix/nut section. Only thing I’m ever confused about is the checkout section, I find it kinda wonky and tight. But this is my experience with every TJ. I really like this location though. Everything was clean and everyone was nice. Easy parking but the parking lot traffic flow was so wonky.

Used to love this TJs. They have instituted two very long lines with an employee at the front to tell u which cashier to go to. I just finished wasting 20 minutes waiting in the freezer section. It used to be a 5 minute wait at the most. There is no cashier for under 25 items that they used to have. Way to ruin a good store.

This TJ’s has everything you need. The managers are friendly and the stockers will stop whatever they are doing to track down your product and let you know when they expect it in. TJ’s no longer sells Emergen-C. Seasonal products are one of my favorite parts about TJ’s: the pumpkin products galore, seasonal Joe’s Joes, chocolate advent calendars, chai powder products, gingerbread latte mix, canned pecan pie filling — I could sit here and list them all. Some of my staple favorites are the frozen tamales — green chile and cheese are top notch! The frozen shelled edamame are convenient and delicious. The butternut squash risotto, schoolhouse graham cookies, dark chocolate peanut butter cups, almond milk, white cheddar popcorn and dried cranberries. The packaged spinach and canned garbanzo beans are the best deal amongst the grocery stores. I don’t buy TJ’s fruits and veggies(other than the packaged spinach) anymore– they are overly priced and not as fresh as those at Sprouts. TJ’s is great for yummy treats, frozen products, wines, dairy products, and snackaroos. Sadly, this store has eliminated a number of it’s canned vegan soups — they have been moved from shelf stable to the refrigerated section with the prepared foods. The cashiers are incredible and always have nice things to say. It is amazing when people share their happiness with you — thanks TJ’s! There is usually plenty of parking during the day but come the holidays though you should expect more difficult parking and lines down the aisles. Don’t forget to bring your own bags!

Big and clean with lots of room in the aisles. There were plenty of samples the day we were here. A lot of cashiers made the lines go quickly. We stopped here on our way home from Manhattan Beach.

This is a large store in a great location. The parking is plentiful and easy, and the store has lots of shelf and freezer space to stock their many terrific items. It is always such a pleasure to shop here. The employees are very nice, polite, friendly and helpful, especially Lora, Jesse and Shireen. If they are out of something, the manager will call the other store for you to see if it is available, and have it held for you. They generously provide a taster cup of coffee for you to sample, as well as food samples, and give you great ideas for combining products. I encourage you to make sure you stop at the new items display, so you don’t miss anything. Best price I have found for Veuve Clicquot, and high quality orchids.

Very nice Trader Joe’s. I love going to this one! Big, clean, and roomy. Plenty of parking. I have never seen them out of much, so great selection on everything. Always have great samples. Employees have always been very friendly and helpful. Lines rarely get long, but when they do, they always seem to open up another one promptly. I go out of my way to go here. In the same complex are REI, Old Navy, and Barnes and Noble. There are a Fry’s, Costco, Whole Foods, MIchael’s, and several other stores within a mile. Save gas and combine trips!

Good Trader Joe’s, not usually as crowded as others. However, NUMEROUSREPORTS of wallets being stolen from purses in shopping carts. Be CAREFUL, be VERY careful!

Fantastic TJ store… but the parking is awful. It gets crowded here folks — and the parking can get crazy. I love TJ’s who assemble their flowers and produce outdoors — such a treat to be greeted with beautiful things even before you get into the store. Some have mentioned this location is one of the«larger» locations — personally I don’t think so — but even if it isn’t, it’s still packed with all the fantastic things you love about TJ’s. Love the service, love the location… I don’t love the parking. But heck, have lunch at one of the nearby restaurants, stop and buy the latest top 10 novel(at B&N), peruse the aisles at Pier 1 and REI, then head to TJ’s to make the next great meal in your own kitchen.

What to say about this Trader Joe’s in a great location? Holy crap on a cracker!(says Penny from Big Bang). This is my store from now on. Parking is wide open and a plenty, store is well organized, wide aisles, service and employees — excellent and for some reason, it seems like they have more than the other locations. It really does seem a lot larger too. No pesky wine lady trying to shove what selection of wine you should buy(mind you, that no one asked for advice from) — Thank God, you can peruse around the alcohol aisle and feel safe.(referencing the pushy sales associate from the Whittier store — and I’m sorry, but someone had to say it) Enough about the past, the future of me and the hubs shopping at this particular TJ’s is bright!!! I love this store, everything looks fresh and well organized, but then again all their stores are just like that, it’s just this one’s by far the best! I truly feel God built and sculptured this Trader Joe’s and for that, I’m a patron forever and ever, till death do us part :)

Who doesn’t love Trader Joe’s??? I LOVE the prices, the produce(although it is limited), their selection of nuts & dried fruit, and I’m crazy about those Tofutti chocolate sandwiches. What I LOVE most about this location is that they don’t allow solicitors. There are a few pet peeves: –the nuts section keeps getting moved(this is not practical for frequent customers) –most locations(including this one) are not on top of stocking up on popular items especially around the holidays. –there are random items like flour that’s always stocked all the time… except that one time when you need it. –dairy items expire before the expiration date –i loathe all TJ’s parking lots Don’t get me wrong I still LOVETJ’s…I’m there at least 3 times a week. BUT those are the inconsistencies that I’ve experienced and hopefully they can improve.
