Wells Fargo Bank

This review is about one employee in particular, Jacyln! She is the BEST customer service I have ever encountered at any Wells Fargo. I came into this bank after having trouble with my card. She explained that for security purposes, the bank had issued me a new card that I never received and my old card had stopped working. She then logged in and took a look at my accounts. I told her that on my app and online log in I had an account that was closed but I could still access/​see it. She said it had never been closed, which is funny because I had been to 3 different WF banks, ONE was even the store manager who said she would close it for me and it never happened. Jaclyn closed it right then and there, had me close and relaunch my app and POOF! the irritating account was gone! She took a look at all my accounts and even noticed my personal account was an opportunity checking (which isn’t good) and she wasn’t sure why they had opened that for me when I qualified for a normal bank account! So she took care of that as well. In the 30 minutes I spent with her, I got more accomplished then the dozens of other times I’ve had to visit branches. I felt like she took the time to explain things to me and was so kind! I will be back to that branch JUST because of her!
Jaclyn, you are the best! I don’t know what me and my finances would have done without you!

Dealing with Wells Fargo in general, and specifically the MB branch, is like being in jail awaiting trial. I’ll take any deal– JUST GET ME OUT OF HERE.
The only reason they have a 1 star rating is due to the fact there isn’t a «minus» star option.

WORST branch I have ever been to! My husband and I have been with this bank for 10+ years and I’ve never had this problem! I have a paycheck card without my name on it (this is how the company I work for pays us nationally), and every other branch has been more than happy to do the cash advance that I need to get my paycheck off my card and deposit it into the account I have with Wells Fargo. Instead of doing their job I had to go to Chase down the street. Pick another bank, Chase is awesome and in the same parking lot!

This branch is fantastic. I have a business and personal account here and have received nothing less than excellent service. My personal banker is Glend who is professional with lots of knowledge. He has made my financial experience with Wells Fargo exceptionally wonderful. The bank is also very clean and friendly from the whole staff. Thank you Wells Fargo MB!

The branch managers name here is Nicole for some reason I think ever since started here the customer service has gone from excellent to super spectacular stupendous. I come here because there’s generally no line and friendly smiley people willing to help you and by the mall doesn’t hurt.

Today, I went to cash two checks written by Ameriprise who (unfortunately)usues Wells Fargo. When I got to the window, I had to wait for the checks to be «verified»
How do you verified check coming from your bank??? I was told that because of the amount (and trust me, it wasn’t big) and the fact that nobody from Ameriprise picks up the phone to veryfiy those checks, I can not get MY MONEY.
Shame!!!
Waste of my time. Will never use wells fargo nor recommend it to anyone.

The customer service here is great. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Then again it was 11am, so of course there’s no crowd yet.
The only thing that out me off was the banker that helped me had one if the fishiest hand shakes I’ve ever experienced. That turned me off a bit.

Came back a few days later and one of the drive-​up ATMs were out of service. Instead of putting out some cones to block the lane or putting up a sign, they let you drive up to the ATM and find out for yourselves. Does this location not care about maintaining the property?

Friday afternoon, under staff, mad busy, at the busiest location? This place needs a new manager!

It’s a nice office with very professional, caring staff. I went in to close my mother’s account who passed in 2010. I walked out with a cashier’s check in my hand maybe 15 minutes later.

Thank You Wells Fargo on Manhattan Beach. You certainly deserve a 5 star for exceptional customer service and making my faith restored in WellsFargo after the really bad experience with the one on GreenValley in Culver City.
Special mention needs to be made for Mr. Abraham Abrica (Assistant Store Manager) who has gone above and beyond his required duties to make sure that the credit enquiry that WF has made be taken out from the history. Thank you Abraham, i hope your diligence and exceptional customer service are indeed rewarded.

I like the local branch, their professionalism, friendly attitudes.
On the other hand … their customer service line SUCK!

I found my new Wells Fargo.
I have been coming here to use the ATM when passing down Sepulveda and the parking lot looked empty but had never gone inside. I had a check that was burning a hole in my pocket and wanted to cash it.
I walked inside to find this Wells Fargo, empty & helpful employees everywhere. I stopped at the little desk to sign my check and the pens actually worked. I was immediately directed by another employee to an open window. I walked up to the window and the person working behind the glass had laid out ‘candy’ in the little area that you pass you identification and check through for customer, I did not take any.
The cashier asked how my day was going, we made small talk & at the end of our transaction the cashier said ‘We appreciate your business.’ To me the small things add up to BIG things. I know Wells Fargo are definitely hit or miss and the ones closer to the Airport/​LAX are big time misses but this one was a HIT.
I will be coming back when I still get that random hard check in my hand and want hard cash in my pocket.

I recently refinanced my home with Wells. The process was simple and efficient and they got me the best rate out there. Marie was awesome — very organized and professional. I’d definitely recommend asking for her.

I wanted to check financing rates. So I walked into this location and they paired me with a Home Mortgage Consultant Taz Dadabhoy.
When we sat down together, the conversation started out normal. finance a 30 year fixed loan. I also told him ive been requesting quotes from other banks with varying ranges of quotes, some higher, some lower, and I was hoping to get info on options. He asked for some pertinent info, did some calculations and gave me a quote for the loan rate. I asked him if he could send me an email with that info so I can compare with other banks that have emailed me.
The point where the conversation turned ugly happened as I was asking about other options of financing (paying points to reduce the rate), he snapped at me for implying that I was comparing loan rates with other lenders. He said something very close to «I don’t know why I’m doing this. I offer all my clients a standard rate. Is there any point to put forth any more effort on my part?» I was stunned and puzzled for many reasons. For one, the tone was very abrasive, loud, and rude. In my view, I was simply exploring options, so I found his overreaction odd. Secondly, he continued over and over to use non-​existent facts as a baseline to quote me. Just one of many examples of this is, I told him that my credit score. Yet he kept using a different credit score to quote me my rate. As the conversation went on, it became increasingly uncomfortable to talk to him. Remaining calm, I explained that I am just asking for a quote and learning about options so I can make an informed decision. He continued to patronize me with words such as «What’s the big deal? You can’t afford to pay another X amount a month?
Going through my mind was also the fact that I had been patronized even though all I really did was repeat what he initially claimed to be the value of staying with Wells Fargo.
I was just frustrated at this point so I apologized for wasting his time in asking for a quote. I reiterated that I was not there to negotiate for a lower rate, and that I was simply trying to acquire a quote, and learn more about options. I said that if its too much to discuss further options I’ll be on my way.
Walking away from this experience, I can say I felt belittled and disrespected. I had kept a calm composure throughout our conversation, but Mr. Dadabhoy continued to talk down to me in a very unpleasant tone every step along the way. I am surprised at how erratic Mr. Dadabhoy was, especially when his name tag indicated he was a supervisor. My positive perception of Wells Fargo as a solid and professional bank has changed due to this horrible experience. I sent a complaint email to the regional supervisor but never heard back. Oh well.

You know your business has collectively screwed up enough times that you are now required to say, «Just so I get it right the first time…» This is the second time I’ve heard a teller ask me this in the last week. I’m assuming this is now a part of their improved customer service?
But…
does that improvement also include there not be a single roll of quarters on hand that I have to stand there and watch the teller veeeeerrrryyyyyyy sloooooowwwwwwllllyyyyy pack one?
Ugh.
