WHY US?

During the course we will cover all the Pilates exercises and equipment in great depth and detail. Students will complete a Student Teaching/​Apprenticeship position at the studios before graduation and certification.

Our goal is to preserve Joe’s Contrology method and give you the skills and knowledge to implement Pilates into the fast paced and progressive fitness industry. You will develop a «trained eye» so you can quickly assess, select the correct exercises for each individual client. Truly teaching to the body in front of you as Mr. Pilates intended of his method.

Director of the program, Caroline Londergan, will comprehensively educate you in the Pilates (Contrology) Method, as well as prepare you to take the Pilates Method Alliance Exam with confidence. You will be able to instruct the Pilates method to any client, regardless of their fitness level or physical limitation.

Caroline was the first to introduce the amazing benefits of Pilates to The White House, the United States Secret Service, and the Washington D.C. SWAT Team. She is presently studying under Pilates Distinguished Elder, Lolita San Miguel. Ms. Miguel is the only remaining descendent to receive a Pilates Certificate from Joseph Pilates himself.

Caroline is a Certified Pilates Instructor through the Pilates Method Alliance. She comprehensively trained with Romana’s Pilates, The PhysicalMind Institute/​The Method Pilates. Caroline is also a Certified Yoga Instructor with the Yoga Alliance. Caroline expanded her knowledge of Pilates by studying both classical and contemporary programs including Stott Pilates, and Balanced Body University. She graduated cum laude with a BFA in Dance Performance, Choreography, and Education from Ohio University. Caroline discovered Pilates over a decade ago when she rehabilitating an injury and training rigorously for her professional dance career. After eight
