Andre Maier Studios is an exceptional choice who did an absolutely outstanding job with our wedding. We worked with Gregory as our actual photographer, for both our wedding and engagement shoot. He is a great guy who had a lot of fun with us and our wedding party. He genuinely seems to enjoy working with everyone and really puts you at ease and makes the entire experience of posing for pics a relaxing and enjoyable time.
Andre edits all of the photos himself and they all looked stunning. We really cannot say enough about both Andre and Gregory. We will definitely work with them again in the future.

Andre was fantastic. From the moment I got on the phone with him, I knew he was the photographer for us. He is professional, yet relaxed. You just know you’re in good hands. I didn’t once have to worry that something from my must-​shoot list would be forgotten, and he was never too intrusive when taking candid shots. He recommended different areas in the city that would be good for photographs, and they came out beautifully. It was so wonderful to view all the photographs and see all the things we missed – particularly the shots of our guests having an amazing time on the dance floor. He gets the staged shots done quickly (yet beautifully!), and focuses on capturing all those special moments – from the obvious ones, like the first kiss, to the emotional interactions between different members of the bridal party. It was a seamless process from start to finish. You can’t go wrong working with Andre.

From our first meeting with Andre Maier we knew that he could capture our wedding– with natural & beautiful non-​posed photos that told our story. We were thrilled with the results. Cody Raisig was on-​time, professional, efficient and in complete control, without being pushy. He managed to corral my large family seamlessly and made us feel comfortable in the posed shots. Cody caught all the big moments from the perfect angle without us even knowing that he was there. The hardest part will be choosing our favorites for our album– there are so many to pick from!

Andre’ is absolutely amazing to work with and his photography is unbeatable. Andre’ worked with us for both our daughters Bat Mitzvah’s and every picture is breathtaking. Looking at our photos we feel the love that was felt throughout the day… Andre’ captured every important moment and the emotions along with the picture. We often look at the photos and find ourselves smiling and laughing because the photos bring us right back to re-​living the day over again. The pictures make us so happy. Everything with André was amazing, from our first meeting, until we got our albums!
We booked André for our wedding. He was not pushy like some other photographers we spoke to, and was very understanding of our needs and boy did he deliver!
We didn’t even know he was at the wedding for the most part! We got many candid shots of our entire ceremony and reception, and we also took posed photos with friends and family. Each photo is purposeful and well placed. The album truly does tell the story of our wedding.
Andre pays attention to the smallest details. After we choose our photos for the album, he was able to arrange our album beautifully. He cropped photos to perfection and used the page space wisely. We couldn’t be happier with the results!
He also made us feel special when he sent us a beautiful wooden flash drive with all of our photos (1000+) so that we can have all of the high quality photos without having to save them on the computer. All the photos are retouched very naturally so everyone looks their very best. He also included some great surprises for us of which we are highly appreciative of! But most importantly, André is a nice guy and a pleasure to work with!

We had our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah in May 2014. We were looking for a photographer who would capture all of the memorable moments so we would have a lifetime of memories. When you are the hosts of a large party you unfortunately can miss so many wonderful moments because you are so busy greeting guests, dancing and having fun. Our photographer Andre Maier made it possible for us to be able to see all of these wonderful moments by capturing them in his beautiful photography. While we of course had Andre take the traditional posed shots of every family member we mostly enjoyed looking at all of the candid shots he took over the course of a 7 hour service\party. Now we can say we really did not miss anything because it was all captured by Andre. Andre is not just a wonderful creative photographer but he is one of the nicest people we have ever met. He is so calming and warm and during the party we almost didn’t see him because he knows how to be in the background but still right in the heart of the party getting those great shots. We also had Andre meet us for a few hours two weeks before the Bat Mitzvah to do a pre-​Bat Mitzvah photo shoot of our daughter in her normal clothes so we could have some natural casual shots ahead of time to blow up and use as props in the Bat Mitzvah space. These shots came out beautiful and it also gave my daughter a chance to get to know Andre ahead of time. He made her feel so comfortable right away. Andre had all of our photos ready within 3 weeks but he also gave us a few great pictures the day after the Bat Mitzvah because every 13 year old girl NEEDS to have a picture of themselves right away to post. He was able to do that for us. He also sent us a mini video of some of the pictures in a sort of slide show format. We will be making our final albums with Andre as well and he helps put that together so it is a fun creative album that even our guests would enjoy looking at. It was a pleasure to work with Andre and our only regret is that our second child will not have his Bar Mitzvah for 5 more years because we cannot wait to work with him again. Thank Andre!

Andre did our New Years Eve wedding this past year and did a fantastic job.
First, Andre is an excellent photographer with photo journalist style, so we have the traditional shots but there are also lots of awesome candid’s, with nothing overly staged, and no cheese. Our pictures are absolutely beautiful and clever. Thus, he’s excellent in the most important area.
Andre is also very friendly and very easy to work with, which is terrific and makes for a good experience with him.
He also turned the pictures around quickly for us, which we appreciate as well.
I’d also add that as with all weddings, our party and timing presented some quirks. In this case Andre had to cope with the winter weather and an overzealous amateur photographer, and he did both with grace and excellence.
In short, he’s an excellent photographer, easy to work with, efficient, and flexible. Basically, he’s exactly what you want. If you meet him this will be probably be clear right away.

What can I say about Andre? How about: every single person who has looked at my wedding album says it is the most impressive album they have ever seen. I of course agree :)
Working with Andre (and a second photographer, Gregory) was such an enjoyable experience. I have no idea how he was able to capture the shots that he did because I didn’t feel «photographed» throughout the day — with exception of the posed formal shots that we did before the wedding. Our wedding pictures are just beautiful and really tell the story of the day.
In addition to this, my husband’s father was not able to attend the wedding. Andre put together a ‘best of’ montage for us in less than one week so that we could share this with him in person when we went to see him during our honeymoon. This is just one example of what it means to work with Andre, which to me is assurance that everything will be done with utmost quality, and an unbelievable eye for beauty, accuracy and detail.
We knew at the end of the wedding, we would have memories and our photographs. These photographs will stand the test of time and are exactly what we wanted to be able to have at the end of our wedding.

Planning our wedding was as painful as purchasing an apartment in NYC. The most rewarding outcome (that required the least amount of effort) was working with Andre. He completely captured the event without being intrusive. The wedding party and guests all looked natural and spontaneous – no cliché, staged shots. He immediately gave us high resolution files at no additional cost. We are so proud of Andre’s work.
