I was told my framing would take 1 week to 10 days. When I showed up 11 days later and my frame was still not finished, I was treated like I was in the wrong. I paid $ 230 for one frame and he was so rude to me, even in front of another prospective customer. STAY AWAY! I will never go here again!

I bought a Groupon for this place and it was fantastic. He was timely, detail oriented, and saved a ton of money in the process. Will definitely go back here to get stuff framed.

brought in an antique poster to be framed. he cut the poster to fit a pre-​sized frame and piece of glass. he ruined a $ 1300 piece of art to «save» all of $ 40 that the larger frame would’ve cost. on top of everything, he didn’t even use a ruler to make the cuts.

I can not say enough great things about my experience here. The young lady went out of her way to provide me excellent customer service. The finished work was superior and was completed very quickly as well.

I wish I had read the reviews before I went to this place. I brought in an oil painting to be stretched/​framed. While he was ringing me up, I noticed a gorgeous picture hanging high up on the wall with a price tag, and said I wanted to buy it. He rang me up for both, then got on the ladder to take it down… there is so much stuff hanging all over the place, that the corner of another frame had rubbed onto the photo, damaging it, but this was not visible until he brought it down. There were also light scrapes all over it. I asked for a refund. He said he would order me a new print instead. I came in to pick up the new one, and it was the same photo but a substantially darker color to it, and also had the scrapes. I again asked for a refund. He said he had a no-​refund policy (as stated on his receipts), and said he would give me store credit. I asked him to order me another one, that was the same color/​tone as the original, but with no damage. He said OK. I came in a few weeks later, he said it was a special order and would not be in for several months. This is unacceptable. He used his no-​refund policy to sell me a damaged painting without disclosing the damage to me. Finally I had to call my credit card company to have the charge expunged. Also, the framing of my oil painting that I brought in the first time was done slightly crooked. Would not recommend this place.

This guy ripped me off for doing terrible work, using possible used frames, and over charging me. And was so rude to me.
Used a groupon. Wish I looked them up first on here. Rip off, terrible work, scratched frames. That sums it up.
I rarely EVER leave bad reviews but this guy takes the cake.
Groupon may support this sub par work but I don’t. Not for top dollar and terrible work.

Wow, this place totally sucks. They hugely overcharge and they’re incredibly rude.
I just had an argument with them about asking them to wrap my picture with the plastic on the outside of the paper instead of the inside because its raining like crazy. Really? And they were rude about it and suggested that I instead just come back to the UES another day when it’s not raining to pick it up, rather than them wrap it properly.
AND FYI FOR PEOPLE WITH GROUPONS — THEY WILL SEVERELY OVER CHARGE YOU TO COMPENSATE!!!
Sigh. I can’t actually write my true feelings about this experience on this review, lest it would get taken down.

I had a horrible experience with the frame shop. They over charged me, including a hefty charge to have 2 pieces of work double matted. When I arrived to pick up my art, only one was double matted. the guy said only one of the pieces was supposed to be double matted, which was a lie. So he offered to refumd me 10 dollars. When I pointed out he had chanrged me $ 45 to have the 2 pieces double framed me said matts only cost $ 5 and I was a liar. When I brought the pieces home I realized that one had pencil marks on it and both pieces were framed slightly crooked. the frame itself also looks cheaply constructed. It was expensive and very very shoddy work. I will never go back here and groupon should not be helping this company. All he does is overcharge to make uop what he loses with the groupon. Worst frame shop ever.
