Awful event planning! Went to NY for a once in a lifetime party till your feet fall off for New Years at the Morgans Penthouse Party and was met with a DJ with two tiny PC speakers which you couldn’t hear unless your ear was pressed up to it. There were no canapés and no countdown. It was very very disappointing. When I emailed them to complain they did not even have the courtesy to reply. Never had such bad customer service. No stars if I could!

Women I spoke with on phone was one of the nastiest sarcastic individual I have come across in my life. Sprint has better customer service than this place .

is simply in to take your money, the «parties» outside the name brand locations are poorly planned and operated. I got in line tonight for a party at 8 PM and was not admitted until 9:36 PM and then waited another 25 min to get upstairs, only to wait another 20 min for a drink. Free drinks from 8 — 12, but I didn’t have my first until after 10 PM!

As my fellow Unilocalers, I am compelled to write another negative review, based on how misleading my night was. I purchased a ticket for the Penthouse at the Royalton Hotel, which seemed very appealing due to the description listed on
(4 hour premium open bar, access to the lower level party, champagne toast). So I go to pick up my ticket on the first day that their offices opened, only to find out later on that my wristband wasn’t included in the envelope! As you may imagine, this nearly ruined my entire night.
When I flagged down an event staff member for assistance she took my ticket stub («to remember me») and assured me that she would be back with my wristband. This was her story for the next couple of hours, after I continuously approached her for my ticket stub and or wristband. Naturally without my ticket I was unable to move downstairs to the party on the lower level for fear that I would not be allowed back up to join my other friends. The event staff member then came to me and told me that my ticket was not valid for the Penthouse and that I would have to go downstairs, where Open bar was not guaranteed (she even wrote Fraud on my ticket). Unbelievable but true. I proceeded to show her the description on the website and how my ticket clearly says «Penthouse» printed on the front. She then tried to tell me that the whole hotel was called «Royalton Penthouse,» in an attempt to get me to go downstairs. When I asked to speak to her manager she quickly changed her story, assuring me that everything was now settled and that I could just remain in the Penthouse.
I ended up making the most of the night, despite not having a complete view of the ball drop itself (only one television was located in the corner of the Penthouse). The other downside to this night was the fact that no coat check was provided at the venue; and a person in my group ended up having their jacket taken (on a freezing cold night).
I am not interested in a refund at this point, but I think Balldrop needs to hire people that are more knowledgeable about the venue that they are working at. Also, they should do a better job at providing the services that they advertise on their website. Totally misleading and not worthy of recommendation.

Spent nearly $ 800 on tickets to a dance club called Providence. While there was a bottle of champagne included, there was a $ 40 bottle fee attached, so total for the event was $ 820. Whatever food was listed on the balldrop website was probably only 25 percent represented. Our table service food was a cold mix of shrimp, sliders, and cocktail wieners in Pop N Fresh dough. We left after 90 minutes, giving our champagne away. We had a much, much better time bar-​hopping. I wouldn’t give this company another dime.

This deserves NEGATIVE stars! Do no use ballsdrop. Especially for Yotel NYE. Their venues do no live up to their description — there is only one mens room — men have to use Porto-​toilets outside… Porto-​toilet for 200 dollars. Epic fail ball drop. Never again. And I will post this on every social media site I can find and telling the other 100+ unhappy people waiting in the cold… Do to the same. Lawsuit in your future, I can only hope.

They ended up refunding my money for the tickets to the warming lounge. Still really sucks that I didn’t see the ball drop but at least I got my money back.
