Barbi Eyelashes

Even though this isn’t as luxurious a place to get them done as some other eyelash places (it doesn’t really matter as you spend all of the time with your eyes closed) I was so happy with the results! They were my favourite lashes I have had done yet and they have lasted a month now where usually my lashes look quite weak after two-​three weeks. They look natural but long and full and were so inexpensive.

They took me without an appointment and what a good job! The technicians are experienced, nice and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend this place and will return.

I used a Unilocal deal and the technician used a lot of care in the application of the lashes. I’m giving this four stars because the lashes started to fall out the very next day– this, however, could be due to the fact that I workout a lot. Regardless, they do a good job for an unbeatable price.

this place is absolutely my first choice for do my eyes lashes … I used to do C.10,11,12 but this time I changed the length to c.9,10,11 and it came out perfect. Hana is the best! she very gentle, I fell asleep right away and felt really relax the whole time on the bed… the price is reasonable and quality is great!!! I remember the last time I came it was over a month but I can say there still some lashes left on my eyes!!! Love it

Nia is amazing. The quality of the lashes is high quality & nice and soft & the glue doesn’t sting your eyes when applying.

Fell asleep during it but lashes came out looking great. Clean and small place and was informative about keeping the lashes dry and using oil free product. Was able to use my groupon voucher with no problem. Would come back since refill are $ 40 every two weeks.

Love my barbie lashes. She takes the time to ask what you want, what look your going for, the event if any, and if it’s your first time. Which in my case it was. Had a great experience recommend it. My lashes look so natural. The place looks funny when you first get there but don’t let it discourage you.

Walking in is a bit sketchy but i love my lashes. They look super natural. They sit with you prior and ask you how you want your lashes to look and an hour later BEAUTIFUL! I used to Unilocal deal but I will be back for a fill in.

Love love love this place. I’ve been a lot of other eyelash places and this one is by far my favorite. They do a great job every time. They last about 4 — 6 weeks, don’t hurt during or after — I’ve been to a couple of places where they use too much glue and that’s just as bad as not using enough. I bought a groupon the first time and they were great. Definitely recommend

Okay so today is December 17^th. The last time I went to Barbi was on November 24^th which is 3 ½ weeks ago !! and the reason I have not returned for a refill is because my lashes still look awesome haha! I will attach pics! I know the price will go up depending on the days I return back there but there really is no reason for me to get a refill because my lashes are still full! Will they ever fall off? Idk lol. Jk I love this place and their skills! I will be back when I need to.

Great job and reasonable price. My lashes last about 2 months! They use good quality glue and do a great job. I recommend it!

I came as a suggestion from a friend who had her eyelashes done here. She recommended this woman named Daisy so I came and asked for her. There was a short wait like 10 minutes and they served me tea meanwhile. Daisy was very gentle and helpful, she spent a lot of time studying my eyes and consult me with the best style. My eyelashes are very thin so i wanted more volume to them while still keeping them natural. She did an amazing job, I was very happy to see the result. I already booked my appointment to come back! Highly recommend Barbi eyelashes!

Came here a couple of times. The service is pretty good and lashes last a pretty long.

Update: I’ve been coming here every 4 – 6 weeks since I discovered this place, and although the staff has pretty high turnover, the quality has been very consistent. I love the lashes and the value is definitely there. I recommend Barbi to all the ladies I know who are into getting their lashes done — and I get compliments on them all the time, even when it’s been a month and half of them have fallen out!

Had my eyelashes done there for the first time and totally love it. The place is nice. The girl who did the lashes is nice and professional. I would love to share this to every girl out there who wants to have beautiful eyelashes

It was the day before my freakin’ wedding…
I had made an appointment for the $ 45 full set deal advertised online.
When I arrived, the receptionist asked if I had printed out the coupon. I said I did not. I assumed that it was not required since the discount was directly advertised on Barbi’s website (and not a Groupon-​type purchase). She asked me to go print out the coupon. I contended that her request was ridiculous, as the special was directly advertised on their website and no one asked me to bring a printed coupon when I made the appointment. I demanded to know why their policy was so idiotic and she could not provide an answer.
Fuming, I told the imbecilic receptionist that their policy is absurd and I stormed off.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Barbi lashes is part of my top two lash spots in the city. Yes they are a little tricky to find, they are located on the third floor (up the sketchiest of sketchy stair cases). The actual eyelash section is located in the back of the salon, it’s not a private room (which to me is just fine) and it’s roomy. So you’re not breathing other people’s air like some places. I used to get my lashes done by this guy name ‘Shawn”, that was my homie but he left :(I’ve only been there about 5x since he’s left but I’ve never had a bad experience, all the lash techs. are on point. Very sweet over the phone and very sweet in person. My lashes have always lasted about 3 weeks for touch up and probably would last longer if my eyelids weren’t so oily.
They have many styles to choose from and lash lengths as well. I highly recommend them. I’m pretty sure they don’t use Xtreme lash but their lashes are lightweight and look great! I can’t wait to go back there!

BAIT and SWITCH with Lifebooker. I hate getting treated like a second class citizen when I present my discount voucher. Barbi Eyelashes would not honor my voucher, but offered their services at full price. I already bought 2 Lifebooker vouchers for Barbi Eyelashes which weren’t cheap, why would I spend more $$$ so I could be further ignored and mistreated by the Barbi staff? The very unhelpful and distracted receptionist said to deal with Lifebooker regarding any refund. They need a crash course in customer service especially in the highly competitive spa/​beauty industry.
Save yourself the disgust and disappointment of being rudely treated and having your time completely wasted. AVOID Barbi Eyelashes. This is not how a reputable business cares for its clients; it’s how you treat people when you care only for ca$h and not personal, professional service.

I had an appointment with 3 people — from 2pm-​4pm and it took about an hour for each of us. A female and young male worked on the group. The female did a good job on my co workers lashes — but most of hers fell out by the next day!
My other co worker and I both were worked on by the young man — he did a good job and was very patient through my ordeal — my first time getting this done and I was very uncomfortable — just wanted to open my eyes or move but I couldn’t. Never knew staying still for an hour would be so tedious! He asked several times if I was okay and through my fiddling around he still did a nice job. I went with C curl 9, 10, 11. I’ve lost about 6 lashes so far but have been very careful with how I shower/​take off my makeup etc. I honestly only see them lasting for a week. My other co worker has much the similar experience with her lashes, falling out here and there but she’s being careful as well.
I don’t think I’ll be back, can’t even think about lying there again for an hour — I’ll stick to just applying a full set of false lashes and invest in a high end glue. For the money [even with the coupon] its not worth it for me.
I give the place 4 stars because the place was clean, the staff friendly/​nice, and they did a good job — just that eyelash extensions of this nature is not for me!
