Marcela still creates wonderful work! The place is still great. Did a French Gel after 10+ years. Marcel as talent as she is made me love this classic again!

I love Coco Young Nail Salon! I’ve been coming to this place for 5 years, it has great prices, super clean (they have new buffers/​shapers for every customer) and the nail techs are extremely talented with such detail. They also have everything from a regular manicure to uv gels. I definitely recommend this spot.

I recently started getting my nails done here by Delphina. Delphina is great! I’ve been going for a couple months now and she has done acrylic and gel nails. She always takes a long time because she is concentrating and makes them perfect! She is super sweet and listens to what you want. The place is clean and cheap ($ 30ish for gel and $ 60+ for acrylic) but it is always crowded so be sure to make an appointment!

This was my first time at this salon and I must say it is one of the nicer salons in Harlem. I came in on a Saturday and it was very crowded but because we had an appointment they took us right away! Zulma did my pedicure and she was so sweet! She was very polite and took her time. The salon itself looked clean and It looked well maintained. The place itself is a little small, the decorations were so-​so, and there was no AC (and when it’s 80 something degrees outside you notice). But who can complain about the price! I got a regular pedicure which was $ 25. The color selection was great and I had a very pleasant experience. Would definitely come again but only with an appointment. It’s too risky to walk in because it’s always so busy!!! Great work with a great experience.

This was my first time going to this nail salon! It was fantastic! Ana did my nails! Her attention to detail was amazing! I will definitely be going back! Not only were they clean and courteous but a gel manicure and regular pedicure are $ 52! You seriously can’t beat it!

This place was highly recommended to me by my co-​workers and decided to check it out. I went on a Wednesday (Mani & Pedi special $ 32.00) and my experience was ok. The technician who serviced me took her time on my feet, which was great, but went a little bit too hard on my toes (she filed off some of my skin while filing my toes and when I pointed out the pain to her the damage was already done) and did not scrub my feet as well as she should have, which I pointed out to her as well. She did better with my mani in terms of cleaning but the paint job could have been better (the paint job was not even and you can see the polish layers on my nails). This place is very close to my job and more affordable than the other salons so I would give this place one more chance but definitely with a different technician.

Hands down the best nail salon in Harlem. Always clean, great color selection and the staff is beyond friendly. Delfina is incredible! A mani/​pedi with her takes awhile but the intention is to sit back and relax — it is so worth it! She’s a perfectionist and you leave with a high end quality pedicure.

I really like this nail salon. This is my go-​to for after work manis and pedis. Friendly staff and the ladies always do a nice job. I like my paint jobs nice and clean, as I’m sure most ladies do. The prices are average as well. It’s not my favorite salon, but I do like it very much (and I’m extremely picky about nail salons).

I love this place. It is always clean. There are many color and service options. I typically get the mani pedi combo-​only $ 29! It is definitely the best nail salon in the area.

My favorite nail place, near home. The mani/​pedis here ROCK and the technicians are extremely detailed.

Love this place. Got 3 gel manicures by 3 different girls and they were all perfect. $ 30 for great service and no need to make an appointment.

Go to Sylvia she takes her time and is very neat. I didn’t wait too long, they started working on me as soon as I came in. I also like that they were very clean. I paid 52 for a gel shellac manicure and reg pedicure. I think that’s a pretty good price compared to other salons. It gets pretty crowded in there, especially on the weekends so try going earlier in the day.

Marcelina does a great job. The manicure lasts about a week and the pedicure lasts about three weeks. For $ 30, it’s a good deal. Friendly staff

I’ve been here only twice and I will officially never go anywhere else in the city for a manicure. They do a WONDERFUL job especially with gel manis. Both times I have gotten them, the lasted 2 full weeks at minimum. They are really great here and for the price (around $ 31 for a gel) they are absolutely worth it. Don’t go anywhere else– this place is a godsend!

Went here yesterday and it was the best mani-​pedi service I’ve ever received! I’ve walked by this place several times in the last couple years as it is a two minute walk from my apartment but I never went in until yesterday.
When I walked in the guy managing the place asked if I minded if two people worked on me. I said I didn’t mind and I guess it was because it was the end of the night. Rebecca and Maria did my manicure and pedicure and they were both sweet. Everyone was friendly and laughing. It was a good atmosphere. When I looked around there were other women receiving the same service so even if I didn’t get those two again I can expect a similar service. One thing I liked is that they gave the foot exfoliation and scrub as part if the service and other places charge extra. You also receive a short massage while your nails dry. It’s a pretty great service for $ 30.
This will now become my regular nail salon.

I live a block from Coco Young, and I’ve always had a good experience. I don’t go that frequently (ie, I probs should for a pedicure more often, always feel like I’m making too much work for my tech when I finally make it in!), but when I do they are very friendly and warm. I was prompted to write a review after my most recent visit, because I had a tech I’ve never seen before, Monica– who was awesome. She was very receptive to what I wanted done to my cuticles (not too much, just any stragglers). Also, I waited a normal amount of time before I put on my heels for an interview I had later after my pedicure, but darn it somehow in the hour I had them on the big toes smudged, stupid plastic H&M heels… SO, I stopped back in on my way home, and Monica fixed them both, no questions asked. She even refused my tip for fixing them, so I’ll have to get her next time.

I had a great experience there. I was greeted and seated right away. The place was very clean and friendly. She did my gel manicure and regular pedicure perfectly (I’m not the easiest to please and I like them filed a very specific way). The price of $ 50 I thought was very reasonable. I had a genuine and positive connection with my technician. (Maria is wonderful). Maria was patient with me as I am very ticklish.
I would undoubtedly go back again!

I can say with confidence that this is the best place for a regular mani/​pedi in Harlem. I don’t get gel color or acrylics so I cannot speak on that.
The women working here are consistently good and they are very pleasant. It is always clean and I never feel hurried. Plus, they have the full range of colors available that you see in fancy nail salons in other parts of Manhattan.

Depends on who you get. I have had some fabulous manicures here and some so-​so manicures here.
The salon is clean, doesn’t knock you over with the fumes and usually won’t have wait of more than a few minutes. Cheap, no frills.

Save your money, time, etc.
I went to Coco Young Nail Salon today and planned to get a mani/​pedi. The nail technician did my pedicure and I had to tell her I was in a rush and could no longer do the manicure.
I lied.
I’m very particular about the quality of nail polish I use on my nails. If a salon doesn’t have Essie and/​or OPI (you know the basic good stuff), I probably won’t get my nails done there. The technician put one coat on and I was like … wtf? why does this nail color look strangely matte and dull — very un-​Essie. I’m like okay, maybe it’s my imagination and I took another look after the second coat. Yea, no… that was some shady ass nail polish and considering the color is opague and bright, it was really really strange. My guess is that they’re adding something to that (or other) nail polish (es) to make it last longer or something.
Either way, I decided against the manicure and walked out. I’d rather paint my own nails. The pedicure was $ 26 and a mani/​pedi is $ 29.
