This place sucks. If you care at all about your clothes, do not use their services. They NEVER bring back clothes clean. I doubt they even wash the clothes with detergent. The staff barely speak English. Always blame the customer for stains that they failed to clean. They’ve damaged a lot of my clothes and when I’ve tried to have them clean it again or pay me for damages that are beyond repair such as burned, yes BURNED, shirts or torn clothing, they refuse and say it was my fault. There are plenty of other options within a block radius of this rip-​off of a business with much better service. DO NOT SEND YOUR CLOTHES HERE! You’ll regret ever giving them business. I hope they go out of business. The worst cleaning service in the Village.

I have gone to Danny’s for three years, every single week. Nothing lost, nothing damaged. I had a sweater with holes I had dry cleaned there and they sewed them up nicely without even asking. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice (but some people who drop off their laundry there are not). I have had no problem, always great service — free pick up and delivery, very quick. A bit of a language barrier but the people at the front desk (some turnover over the years — Howard is there now, who is so sweet) are very kind and helpful.
Highly recommend this place for your wash and fold and dry clean needs. Had to write this review because I was shocked at the negative views. After 3 years, I don’t have anything negative to say.

Shocked to see the bad reviews for Danny’s. I went to three places closer to me in this neighborhood, and they were awful. Danny’s is slightly more expensive, but the quality is worth it. If you live nearby, skip the low cost cleaners and go to Danny’s.

To lie to customers is never good business! Three times employees have lied to me. AND their van that picks up the clothes is DANGEROUS to New York City pedestrians.
When I went in to talk to them about the reckless driving of their company’s van, they lied and said they did not know how to contact the owner of the company. I talked to them twice about the dangerous driving of their van, but they kept telling me it is not their company and would not give me the company’s number saying they did not know it. Also, had some alterations done and had to bring it back because they did not do it. They say they use fabric softener, but do not. And clothes come back very wrinkled.

I used Danny Cleaners for wash and fold for a while, but then they returned my white clothes completely stained (they were absolutely not stained before) and all of my clothes totally shrank. I approached them about the situation but the woman who works there is way too aggressive. She told me they were the «worst stained clothes she had ever seen in her entire life» in order to cover up for their mistake. Completely unaccommodating and I do not recommend if you are looking for your clothes to be returned to you in halfway decent condition. I feel deceived since they were so nice at first with the free pickup/​delivery. Not worth it.

Have had some bad experiences here I have taken my laundry elsewhere after missing items, finding other people’s socks and underwear in my laundry and damaged clothes. Tailoring is good though. Careful with your nice clothes here. Also the Korean woman was always arguing with me when things went wrong and would not take responsibility it was exhausting and got way too personal very unprofessional.

I love Mina. My boyfriend and I have been taking our laundry /​dry cleaning to her for years, and she’s fantastic. She’s spicy and fun, and one of my favorite local businesses in the neighborhood. Consistent, good service.

I’m surprised to see so many low reviews for this place. I have taken countless items in here to get cleaned and altered, including difficult leather and sequins alterations. They come back good as new every time and the prices are reasonable. The women who work there are amazing, friendly and take pride in what they do. So happy to have this place in my neighborhood!

I wish I had read the other reviews before taking my clothes here. Didnt finish the shirts at the time promised, returned them stained and then denied they had any responsibility to solve the issue. With so many places in the city, this should be the last place you go…

The Korean lady who works there definitely has an attitude and bullshits way too much. She just wants me to dry clean everything and told me to dry my clothes myself. DO YOUR LAUNDRY ELSEWHERE.

Singlehandedly the worst cleaning experience here:
I have brought my laundry for wash and fold here for a year (I use better places for dry cleaning after a number of shirts came back with stains).
This week dropped off 10 pounds of clothes and when I came to pick up and the bag seemed too small — the woman (presumably the owner) — weighted the bag to show me that it was the same weight… when. whoops: the bag weighed in at just 7 pounds. She said she thought the three pounds were «moisture» and «humidity» weight.
I opened the bag to find that a ralph lauren shirt, a brooks bothers shirt and several t-​shirts were missing as well as a pair of pants.
I asked if we could check with the facility where she send the laundry to see if it’s been lost or somehow misplaced and the woman yelled at me at the top of her lungs and called me «low class» and «idiot» and refused to tell me even the phone number of the place where she outsources to – because her «business was done once you pay.»
Never, ever go here. The laundry place across second ave is half the price and at least as good.

they do a totally fine job of wash/​dry laundry, but the other reviews would make me hesitant to dry clean here. they pick up and deliver your laundry for free and its not any more expensive than local cleaners.

Danny’s is TERRIBLE. Horrible customer service and they’ve ruined 2 pairs of white jeans. The first time i thought it was a fluke so I continued to take my clothes there and the second time they returned my J brand jeans with holes up and down the legs. There had not even been a small tear when I dropped them off. When i called to complain the lady told me she thought they were supposed to look like that. When i asked to be compensated she only offered $ 50 credit. DO NOT USE DANNY CLEANERS.

The destroyed my garment, then when I asked them to try and fix it the woman yelled at me to buy better clothes (the piece was Rag & Bone). Worst NYC dry cleaning experience yet…
