Horrible service… I paid $ 55 to hem two pants in two days ($ 55?!). When I got them they were horribly hemmed and unwearable. I needed them for Sunday and had to go get them done by another tailor because these guys were closed on Saturday and couldn’t help me in time. When I tried to go back and explain the situation and merely ask for the difference in price, they refused saying it wasn’t a matter of service. Anyway terrible job and the fact that they couldn’t do the right thing and reimburse the customer for a job they couldn’t complete speaks volumes. Go elsewhere.

I had a dress to wear at a wedding tailored and they did an excellent job. I highly recommend!

A bit over priced but they deliver and are customer service oriented. Also — prime location for anyone who works in midtown east.

They did an excellent job on hemming a very complicated skirt with pleats. The length was perfect, they completed it on time, and everyone is very nice. I will definitely be returning for other hems that require more attention. Only downside is that they’re a little on the pricey side.

Finding a tailor is really hard and I was excited after reading some of these reviews. I have a number of things I need tailored and was willing to pay a higher price for good work. Unfortunately, the tailor was not attentive both times I visited and he seemed to make up the price for the work on the spot. It cost more to take a shirt in then to redo the legs of a pair of pants which did not make sense. I think the work is good, but make sure command attention and discuss the prices upfront. I wanted him to fix a couple things, but the tailor didn’t get up to ask if I liked my clothes or not. The female employee that works there is very friendly and conversational but sadly, she is not able to take measurements, etc.

I needed my maid of honor dress tailored for my sisters wedding. After reading my fair share of Unilocal reviews in the area, I chose to come here having read all the great reviews. The staff is extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The dress has a few layers and was not an easy job and it came out perfect. I had it hemmed and taken in. They even had it done before the time specified. I highly recommend this place and will not be going anywhere else. Very happy!

This place was awesome! I was in a pinch to get a tux tailored and they got it done in under an hour. The tux fit great as well. Friendly staff and all around great experience

Great tailor: I came yesterday with my favorite blazer, a vintage wool/​silk jacket that’s at least 40 years old, and which had a hole in the sleeve due to cloth-​fatigue. Fast forward 24 hours and my sleeve is back to normal. The labor-​intensive job, plus one broken button, was a total of $ 35.

Always go to Eunice to have a coat or dress well-​tailored. I’ve been to many before and the quality of work doesn’t compare!

My first time there I asked for them to sew a tear in my pants, which were part of a brand new suit that cost $ 1,000. Additionally, I asked to have them dry cleaned. I came back a few days later and they lost the pants. They kept asking me to come back while they look for it.
After about two weeks, they asked me to bring the jacket from the suit so they knew what to look for (clearly they couldn’t track it by my name or order number).
This went on for a few weeks so I asked them for a refund for the suit that I just recently bought in May 2014. He wouldn’t do it unless I had the receipt so I returned with it a few days later.
He said that he would have to take a huge loss so he offered to make me a new suit because «mine was of poor quality», but it would cost an additional $ 700 (I am not sure how that ever made sense). I told him I want the refund for the suit, and I will come back in a few days for the check. When I returned, he wouldn’t pay me for the full price of the suit because it was old (4 months).
Needless to say, I had t argue for a few minutes to get my money back, but for someone who claims he cares about customer service, this was not a good example.

My go to place for all my tailoring needs! He can pretty much fix any piece of clothing at great prices. Aman fixed my suits, rain coat, overcoat, etc. highly recommended. Soon I will ask him to make me a custom suit as he can do this as well. Thanks Aman.

Very accomodating and lovely staff. I delivered a dress on a Thursday evening hoping it would be ready by Saturday morning (very last minute I know) and since this was my first time using their service I wasn’t aware of that they’re actually closed on Saturday and Sunday. I guess they saw the disappointment in my face because they quickly assured me that it would be ready the following day. I was very happy with the result! Great service.

I just had a dress hemmed for my friend’s wedding next week and it came out perfectly. Everyone was super friendly and very professional. I would definitely visit them again and refer friends to go there :)

I work in the Grand Central area and live in the UES. I have tried tailors in both areas and this is hands down the best. I have had them take in and hem 4 different dresses for weddings and they always do a great job! Highly recommend this place!

Eunice is a wonderful tailoring and dry cleaning shop. The personal care and attention to detail that they provide us exemplary and everything is always finished quickly and perfectly! They are reliable and personable. I would recommend them most highly for both dry cleaning and alterations.

Great service and very professional. I work in the same building (the Chanin) as them and was overjoyed when I discovered that I had an amazing tailor right downstairs. I’ve been to other tailors in the city, notably some on the LES that charge an arm and a leg and take four weeks to finish the job, but this place is not like that. Their prices are fair, they listen to you and give you what you want, and best of all it’s quick. I’ve had pants hemmed, suits/​shirts tailored, sleeves let down, tuxedo pants altered, and even had them do a reconstruction of an old Harris tweed sports coat I inherited from my uncle. Virtually every time the piece came out great, and when it wasn’t exactly what I wanted they made the correction without complaint or argument, sometimes within 5 minutes! Highly recommended for all your tailoring needs.

I was doing a project for a high profile figure who was attending an international press conference, and we had a bit of an emergency with a shirt he needed to wear for the conference, that needed to be mended asap.
The only solution was to create specialty patches. The tailor at Eunice was extremely professional and thorough when they spoke with me and able to create custom patches for the shirt. Not only this, but they were able to do a rush job and turn it around within the afternoon, just in time for the conference! Highly recommend.
Bonus points for being downstairs in the lobby of the super beautiful News Building in midtown. Definitely check out the detailing on the walls and doors while you’re there!

I work in the area and decided to have a sport coat tailored as a one time deal. Without question the best work i’ve see in the city. I returned the following week with another sport coat and pants. The pants were hemmed too short so I returned the next day and they fixed them without hassle and had them ready that very same afternoon. They always call when items are ready for pick up and generally the items dropped off for tailoring are done days in advance of the giver window. Great location and service. I would totally recommend.
