History

Established in 2010.

I been a face painter for almost three years now and I absolutely love it! I am also an elementary school teacher in Manhattan, and I really love working with kids. I come from a fine art background and studied design in France, four years ago I came back to New York where I discovered my passion for children’s world. I started working with kids as a language teacher and I’ve somehow found this wondrous way to combine my love for children and my artistic talent, on a complete coincidence. I’m ever so grateful for this — it’s the perfect thing for me to do on weekends: D

Business Owner

Shelly was born and raised in China, educated in San Francisco and Toulon, France. While studying art in San Francisco, she explored in various media, especially oil painting and ceramics. She then lived in south of France for 4 years pursuing a graphic design and visual communication degree in L’Ecole Internationale de Design, as well as an advanced drama/​performing arts degree at the Conservatoire National de Region, Toulon. After working in a few different design firms, having created her own interior design company and continuing her personal artistic projects, she came back to New York City 4 years ago and has been working as an interpreter, language teacher for children, freelance illustration artist and face painter!
