From the Source fuses organic and modern designs together using plantation-​raised and reclaimed woods. We also specialize in custom projects for bars, restaurants, hotels, residential owners and businesses alike. Designed in Brooklyn, our furniture uses simple handmade construction out of solid exotic hardwoods. Some of the FSC-​certified woods we specialize in are teak, mango, sonokeling rosewood, ingas, acacia, driftwood, and mahogany. Our warehouse and design studio in Greenpoint Brooklyn is also open to the public daily.

History

Established in 2001.

Our warehouse and design studio space in Greenpoint Brooklyn used to be a première rope-​mill back when the Greenpoint waterfront was a ship-​building yard. This space has been evolving since and the rebirth of West Street is making this the most exciting time for our neighborhood. Our warehouse space is popular among the film and television business because it offers very unique backgrounds for camera shots.

Beginning our history as an import company, we now design and manufacture our products to relate the trends and needs of our customers’ lifestyles. We are proud to be apart of a sustainable and quality conscious movement and strive to bring our customers fresh, simple designs that will last.
