I Love New York Shopping Tours

I have to leave this review even though our tour was a few months ago.
We met Cayle at Dean and Deluca a spent the morning on a walking tour of Broadway shops, Canal Street, Little Italy and NoLita. Cayle was so informative and interesting to talk to. We had an excellent tour that everyone (even the kids) enjoyed!!!

Although we’re hardcore New Yorker’s, my girlfriends and I decided to take the Soho, Chinatown, Nolita shopping tour hoping to discover few surprises. And boy did we! Clothes, jewelry, funky boutiques, famous ice cream from Chinatown, Pearl River…
Cayle is an excellent and personable guide who obviously knows her stuff. She had lots of shopping hints and showed us places and things we never knew about! She obviously loves what she does, which makes it a really fun afternoon. I highly recommend this tour, and we’re looking forward to booking our next one.

You know that friend that always knows the perfect gift to get you? The really thoughtful book or awesomely inspired mix tape? Well, I got that sort of feeling when I found out what our tour guide had prepared for us…
How have I lived in New York for one year and not known all of these gems?! Our tour of SoHo/​Little Italy/​Chinatown really was personalized for our tastes. Fearless Guide Cayle introduced us to some lessons in history, contemporary culture, real estate, foodie studies… and by that, I mean helping us score some exotic fruits I’ve never seen before! The tour really packed in a lot of interesting finds, also including: a surf and coffee shop, some great vintage and international clothing hot spots, the best Chinese ice cream, rice pudding in 20 flavors, and an emerging designers’ market (with great prices, great fashions, and a great way to support local artists – guilt-​free).
Throughout the tour, I really was reminded of the adage: knowledge is power. Cayle gave us lots of great advice– I can’t say enough about the tour! I’d recommend this to tourists, newbies, and natives alike!
Oh, did I mention she scored us some discounts (arranged ahead of time)?! Color me impressed!
