Lice Out New York

My advice: Do yourself (and your child) a favor and call Lice Out New York. Paula is absolutely amazing. So patient and meticulous. She came into our home and my five year old daughter was immediately at ease with her.
OTC lice treatments are toxic and very ineffective. Plus they require multiple applications and combing. Not something I was willing to do.

Hire Paula immediately if you think you may have lice! She was SO thorough, so patient, calm and professional throughout our family’s upheaval when we suspected that we had lice. I wouldn’t leave this task to someone who isn’t highly-​trained and experienced as Paula. I echo the comments that she used gentle products and most importantly, how comforting it is that she so carefully combed through every family member’s hair. I am so happy that she makes housecalls and was so accomodating on our urgent pleas to come quickly! She is an angel and we felt that she was excellent value for her service. I would recommend her highly to anyone.

Paula is fabulous. She is patient, knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. I called her at 7:30pm and she came the next morning. She made an awful experience manageable and spent hours combing out my daughter, son and myself. There were zero chemicals involved. She told us what to do to around the house. She is simply the best. And she is nice and smart to boot. When lice happens you want to eradicate them asap. Paula guarantees her work and gave me an upfront fixed price which was much less than friends who used Hair Faires or Licenders.

Paula is wonderful! I hated the idea of using chemicals on my scalp and I teach young children so I needed to take care of this immediately. She came the next morning and was so calm and easy to work with. I hope I never have to go through this again, but if I do, I’ll definitely use her!

My boss and her family called this lady to treat them because they were itching and she came out within the day, she claimed they had lice and nits. She charged them over 400.00. My boss was still itching days and now weeks later and continued to stay in touch with Paula because of this. Paula continued to tell her she was fine. BUT 3 weeks later still itching and sent a text and this lady told her that due to other people she had been around and they couldn’t afford her services and used RID that Paula was not sure if they had lice again and in order to check them to make sure they were clear she would have to charge them 400.00 again 3 weeks later. My boss was furious, it had only been 3 weeks and she blamed it on other people that used store brand products and then told her that she would have to part ways with her and wouldn’t come back out to do a follow up and referred them to licenders and sent them the number for a free head check. The entire family went and with minutes licenders checked all their heads FOR FREE and everyone was clear! They didnt ask questions or ask to be paid! I would go to licenders!

Paula is the BEST! My son came home from School and they had a representative from Licenders to check the prek class. The info given to me had a picture diagram and was confusing. 1^st I didn’t get a verbal warning from the teacher and emailed the teacher. A Sample of a strand of hair was taped and was not checked off if he had lice or a nit (egg). Confusing since I didn’t know, if it was my son’s or not. It was a bit concerning. After stressing and goggling everything I could about lice. I found many nits in my sons hair. I found Pula online after reading all the great reviews and all the bad reviews from Licenders. I called Paula the next morning and she was available the next day to see us. She it’s WORTH EVERY PENNY. She combed my hair, my husband, and of course my 4yr old son. She is efficient, a perfectionist, patient, kind and above all professional!!! Paula is informative and easy to talk to. She was at my apt for 5hours. She is really one of a kind in this business.

Paula was fantastic! She was calm, reassuring, and great with my shy 5 year old daughter. She spent four hours with us – I can’t imagine her being more thorough or good natured. Paula is an absolute miracle worker: she comes in, takes care of business, calms everyone, and makes it look like she was never there when she leaves. She is completely responsive, empathetic, and professional. I am so thankful I found her!

Paula is amazing! She came to my home a few hours after I called her! She made the experience pleasant for me and for my 5 and 8 year old children. Paula spent over 6 hours at my apartment inspecting and taking care of 6 of us! I cannot speak highly enough about Paula!
