LSAT Wiz

I remember the bleak days when I was scoring 151 on practice tests, but LSAT Wiz helped me score a 164 on the real LSAT! They also helped me through the whole application process – picking schools, writing personal statements, writing essay addendums explaining past mistakes (bad grades; academic probation). Now I’ve gotten accepted into Tier 1 schools (even a Top 25) and gotten scholarship offers. I met with the LSAT Wiz tutor twice a week for a period of 4 months. Not only are their rates super cheap compared to the big LSAT tutoring companies, but I was able to get the tutoring specified towards my needs. I think everybody learns in different ways, and that each prospective test taker has different strengths and weaknesses related to the LSAT material. So I found one-​on-​one tutoring to be way better than those big group sessions. My LSAT Wiz tutor always knew how to make the topic interesting to me – even when it really was not (for ex. logic games, uggghhh). He had a good memory and kept track of my hobbies, interests, and personality quirks, and would explain things in a way that related it to those. I loved the way he taught. It made me really grasp the underlying concepts behind the logical reasoning section for example. I started to get how the test worked, what kind of questions, methodology, and types of logic. Plus, my tutor was a cool guy and it helps to learn from someone who you get along with. And it was convenient (fellow New Yorkers, I know you can relate!).instead of lugging it over to some classroom he met me wherever I wanted. half a block from my work, half a block from my grad school, 5 min walk from my apartment, a couple blocks from the park where I was gonna go hang out with friends after the tutoring session. I studied for the LSAT on my own for a month until I caved and researched tutoring options. Could I have studied on my own for the remaining 4 months until the test or even went with one of the big tutoring companies? Sure. But I really believe that I would have scored in the high 150s at best. Only 6 or 7 point jump? Yeah, but those 6 points are the difference between going to a reputable school with good employment prospects and going to a bottom of the rung crap hole where even the top students struggle to find work. The LSAT Wiz tutor also mentored me through the law schools’ application process, especially for the writings (personal statement, addenda, etc.) I slacked off years ago in undergrad and my GPA from then sucks (2.5), but because of my LSAT score and the personal statement and other writings for the admissions applications, I’ve been accepted into Tier 1 schools (and even a top 25 school), and I’ve gotten big scholarships. I’ve got options and schools are competing over me. I just met with admissions officials from a Tier 1 school with great job placement in one of the nation’s biggest legal markets. They told me that my writings were exceptional and stood out to them during the review process. Keep in mind folks, when I was in undergrad I was even put on academic probation once for screwing my grades up. But the LSAT Wiz tutor mentored me through the whole writing process, and I explained those things eloquently in addenda. Granted, I have a real reason and passion for going to law school, but I sat down with him and we did revision after revision until my personal statement was solid. I had a professor whose considered the top expert in his specialization tell me it was an excellent piece of writing. It started out super mediocre when I started writing it. Without LSAT Wiz tutor’s input and editing advice, it would not have turned out anywhere near as good as it did. Bottom line: Yea, I would’ve gotten into law school without LSAT Wiz (Tier 3 at best) but without them I would not have the options I just described!

I had finally figured out I wanted to go to law school in July (after the June test was over), and my dad found an ad for LSATWiz on Craigslist, thinking it would help me prepare for the test. And it definitely turned out to be a treasure to find. My cousin who attended law school had already given me the books my tutors used; I was consistently putting up low scores when testing myself. I had one tutor for a few weeks at home and then another when I went back to Philly for the couple weeks before the October test, and my scores were noticeably growing higher over all those weeks. I ended up scoring 20 – 25 points higher than I was when I had first started out, and while I can’t guarantee the same growth for everyone, the tutors are incredibly insightful into breaking down not only the test’s problems but also yours. They help talk you through the way you go about the problem and offer tips and tricks that facilitate finding the right answer. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to either make the jump to where you want to get or even perfect his or her approach when in the 170s. As advertised, the tutors are cheaper, more concerned and of higher quality than some other programs offer, all while offering the same convenience that other programs do.
