History

Established in 2012.

Not long after moving to Manhattan, Robin had to leave town on a business trip. Being new in town, she turned to the internet and to Facebook, but was unable to find a professional dog-​sitting service. Assuming she was not the only one who would prefer to leave her dogs at home rather than send them to a kennel or daycare, she decided to start a dog-​sitting business herself.

As the owner of Manhattan Mutt Company, LLC, Robin has combined her background in customer relations with her love for dogs to build your professional choice for dog-​centric services. You are sure to be pleased with her business practices and your mutt (s) will appreciate her focus, not to mention the proficiency of her carefully selected employees!

Robin graduated with a B.S. from Appalachian State University in Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology in 2004, and while she loved every minute, she has loved learning by her dogs’ sides even more. When she brought her first puppy home, she immediately jumped into dog training — but her new companion was so wild, they got kicked out of their first class! Determined to train KamaKazi (who was often a self-​fulfilling prophecy), Robin read every reference she could get her hands on. Since then, she has had the pleasure of working with several talented dog trainers (including the awesome Mutt School here in Manhattan!).
