This place is tiny, but so much fun! The lady behind the counter let us try as many cheeses as we wanted, and even some pickles she had open. The store also has speciality items such as pickles, crackers, sauces, and mixes. They have a variety of kitchen gift items. The staff was super friendly and we will go back before we head home to get some cheese!

Mimi’s has been open for just a month, on the south entrance of Blue Earth Place between Arlan’s Liquors and Radina’s Bakehouse. I noticed it while at Radina’s the other day, and decided to stop by this afternoon.
The space is quaint but there are lots of treats — a variety of cheeses from the midwest and Europe, local honey and jam, crackers, cured meats, etc. The associate is very knowledgeable — he works at 4 Olives, and the cheeses are ordered by an expert at 4 Olives as well. You can sample any cheese. I was able to sample several cheese, including bonne bouche goat cheese, the new Flory’s Truckle cave aged cheddar which I ended up buying, Greek dry-​aged feta, and a gouda. All of them when were pretty tasty. I love local shops like these and am glad to have it as an addition in this up and coming area!
