ZERO star, please. VERY DISSATISFIED!
I found this company on Amazon while searching for international SIM cards for trip overseas. Before I placed any order, I called to make sure that the «expedited» shipping (supposedly next-​day). The price of the SIM card was $ 39.99 w/​free shipping (3 – 5 day shipping). I opted for the «expedited» shipping for $ 11 extra, since I wanted it the next day. They kept reassuring me that I will receive it the NEXT day.
When I placed the order it was about 11am on 9⁄3. The guy told me if I placed the order by 2pm, it will be shipped out same day, and I will receive it on 9⁄4. When 9⁄4 came around, nothing showed up. I called them and I was placed on hold for about an hour, and they never picked up. I did this 3 – 4 times throughout the day, being on hold on my cell phone and my land line. The phone said that they are busy so if I can’t wait, email them, which I did. No reply.
Now its 9/​5, I just tracked the package, and the estimated delivery date is 9⁄9.
Serious? After they kept reassuring me multiple times that $ 11 will get it to me «NEXT» day, now it looks like they just scored $ 11 extra from me. So now, I will be off to my trip overseas without the international SIM card, and no one will be available to receive it when it does arrive while I’m already gone. I’ve already got charged $ 51 for something I will not have, and now I will have to pay three times the price overseas.
I’ve contacted my bank/​CC company to stop payment, but I was told I can’t anymore because it has to be within that day. But they did open a dispute for me. Also, I’ve contacted Amazon and filed a dispute as well, since it’s false advertising.

Bought a low-​end unlocked GSM (Galaxy Star) for use overseas. Was not told when I bought it that it was packaged for sale in Italy, with only Italian instructions. Also, the adapter that the put in the box did not fit snugly, phone didn’t charge. Went back the next day (inconvenient) and was given a better adapter. However, they should tell customers about all this beforehand. It was easy to find a pdf manual in English online and now the battery will charge. but I would do business with them if they had been upfront about this and re-​assured me before purchase. They know there is an issue with the adapters and should have customers test them out beforehand. Definitely a «meh» experience

I meant to write this a long time ago. They are generally friendly although I feel like they are Jewish (which is fine) but they have that mentality of «are you gonna buy or what?!»…you should definitely come knowing what you want because they don’t talk much… other than THAT… I bought a product there and it was missing a part and they had NO ISSUE doing an even exchange, no questions asked… for THAT I give them 5 stars… there’s no parking there which sucks but then again it’s NYC… good thing I moved outta there! :)

I am in a dispute with Mobilecity
. Due to I viewed a cell phone and information on their website about a phone. So I ordered it, but when I received it, I was surprised. It didn’t match the Info I read about the phone. So I am returning it. I am being charged a 15% restocking fee, plus I loose out on the tax amount.

Did you read it has a Qwerty keyboard? Well it does not, this is misleading information given by Mobilecity. I argued for 20 minutes with a gal «Francis» from the returns dept. She said: «You misunderstood what you read, it doesn’t say it, that the phone has a slide out keyboard».
It says both style of phones comes «WITH» a qwerty slideout keyboard. How do you not read that correctly? So buyer beware of a fast scam. They should give me a full refund without deducting the 15% fee or tax. Don’t you agree? I know lawyer’s and a judge would see it my way.

Needed an unlocked GSM phone ASAP so hopped down to their retail location with a model of my wanted phone in hand.
The salesperson was professional, to-​the-​point and very helpful. And she didn’t try to sell me crap I didn’t need.
The price of the phone was very reasonable, it worked right out of the box, and I only spent a half hour on the entire errand.
Check these guys out if you want good service and value w/​o gimmicks.

Actually, I have never been inside their store, but I used to buy regularly from them online when I was with my old company.
There is NOTHING that this place does not have when it comes to cellular phones and accessories. Practically any European /​Asian model GSM phone can be purchased through them. Yes. .. you will certainly pay a premium, but when you absolutely MUST HAVE that hot slider or Nokia unit that you can only find in Europe — no matter how new it is – this is cheaper than hopping on an airplane and going overseas to get it.
I found their customer service to be very helpful and their return policy, as I recall, was pretty good, but I think they did have a restocking fee.
