Closing the deal on a well paying job IS tough, and even extremely qualified applicants must wait weeks, even months between interviews. With costs increasing everywhere from subway fares to city taxes, you have a good reason to find a better paying job. Being smart and talented, you think it should be easy to find one. But hiring standards have toughened up.
In your first Nail Your Next Job session, Alan Mandel gives you 10 key words that will set the stage for a great interview by showcasing your determination, drive and commitment to your new position.
In addition, Nail Your Next Job will empower you with skills and techniques to help you successfully answer many of the most common (and most dreaded) interview questions:
«So, tell me about yourself.»
(The answer to this open-ended question will color the rest of the interview
«What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?»
(This is really two tricky questions in one.”)
And 18 more. No obligation consultation.
History
Established in 2010.
I started conducting a Job Interview Skills Workshop towards the end of my Oral Communications classes. I was amazed at the feedback. My students were landing jobs! Career Services adopted my approach. About 2 years ago, a 53 year old friend of mine lost his job in logistics and was terribly discouraged. After 2 hour long consultations, he landed a great logistics job on Long Island and said I should do this professionally. I’ve helped people land jobs in media, hospitality, non-profit and finance, so far.
