Best dry cleaners I’ve used in my 10 years in NYC. Quick and seamless delivery, always responsive and so organized. They fixed an error (not theirs but my doorman’s) effortlessly and credited my account immediately for the over payment. If you’re lucky enough to be in the delivery range, use them!

Been using them for 4 years. Always on time and the tailoring is good quality though a bit pricey. Would recommend to others.

New fresh cleaners is the worst that I have ever worked
I sent at least 15 shirts for cleaning and almost all of them delivered with a problem. Broken buttons, uncleaned coffee stain, non of them were crease-​free, damaged sleeves or collars etc.
I will send their laundry bag back and I will stop getting service from them.
If you love your shirts, dont work with new fresh cleaners

I feel terrible writing this because I’d love to support a small business but they screwed up two of the three batches of laundry I sent (over a short period).
First incident: they dropped off folded laundry that was still wet. They did pick it up for rewash /​refold.
Second incident: got someone else’s (clean) dress shirts. Definitely an inconvenience as it took a few days to fix (they were closed one day) and those were the only shirts we had.
I love the online order system and reasonable prices — but sadly I am really disappointed because of these two incidents. Hope they can improve the service so that I will have the confidence to use them again.

And the riveting conclusion to my adventures in wash and fold is finally here. I have done another two loads of wash and fold since last I wrote, and NFC is back on my good side.
I sent out a load (no time pressure of impending vacations) and called NFC for pick-​up. The guy on the phone noticed or remembered the issue I mentioned in my last review (which involved my laundry never being picked up) and he gave me a discount that was much appreciated.
More importantly, between the two of us we figured out the problem: the website scheduler. For whatever reason it wasn’t recording or delivering my laundry requests, hence the pick-​up problems. Now I call in every time (which actually turns out to be more convenient) and everything goes perfectly. Called at 745am on a weekday last week and had my laundry that evening. Even with our technical issues, these guys have impressed me and I’m back. Thanks NFC!

In little more than one year, once they brought me someone else’s laundry instead of my one and another time they treated stuff which I sent for dry cleaning as laundry, ruining all the clothes. Every now and then I would also find someone else’s odd socks in my laundry every now and then. Make sure to read the other reviews and use at your own risk

Do not bring anything special to this cleaner. I brought a lovely new, only worn twice sweater in for cleaning. It was returned to me with a large tear in the sleeve. The clerk advised me to bring in my receipt for reimbursement. When I brought it in, the owner refused to reimbursement and tried to claim it was my fault for buying such a delicate garment.

Quick and fast. There was a slight miscommunication but problem solved. Very professional!

I had a great experience here. I got the 10off coupon from Unilocal and dropped off a suit for alterations. This being the first suit I ever had altered I didn’t know what to expect.
I needed the bottom of the jacket hemmed, the pants hemmed, the sleeves shortened, and the sides takes in. The woman spent very much time with me and gave me suggestions on what might look the best for my body type. She was helpful and kind. After the suit was finished I tried it on and nothing needed to be fixed. It was measured, pinned, and worked on great and looks great. Thanks!

I had 3 very very very disappointing experience over the course of 1.5 years. The reason I kept going back is because of their inexpensive services. But as cliché as it might sound, you do get what you pay for. If you want to see your expensive suits or your nice dress shirts again, good luck with them. You can argue that maybe I got unlucky but these 3 incidences really really make me sick.
1. First incident happened to me when I asked them to tailor my Hugo Boss suit. They agreed and carefully took my measurement. When I got my «tailored» suit, the pants were too short and the jacket was too big. To make it worse, they completely cut off the «extra» fabrics and threw them away. Therefore, there was no way for me to fix the suit. Yes. Hugo Boss suit, see you!
2. After the first incident, since they apologized and made these innocent faces (YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT), I went back again for my laundry needs. (I was thinking, yes, everyone makes mistakes. So what. Now I think back, what an idiot I was). I used them to dry clean my nice dress shirts. When I got them, I realized one shirt was fixed with patches underneath the shirt. This means that they somehow broke my shirt, did not call me or left me a note to apologize, and patched it up in the hope that I won’t realize and pretend that the shirt is normal. How messed up was that? When I went back to the store for an explanation, they said these things happen ALL THE TIME and «hey, we didn’t charge you for the patching up work.» LUCKY ME!
3. After the second incident, I have outsourced my tailoring and dry cleaning needs to another dry cleaner around the area. Although the new place charges a little more, I haven’t had a single problem over the course of 1 year. However, due to New Fresh Clearners’ inexperience price, I went back to them for my laundry needs. I thought if they can’t get the tailoring or dry cleaning right, which is a job that needs some level of skills (maybe), they should able to clean and fold my T-​shirts and underwear. Ha. They messed that up too. I don’t know what happened but my whole bag of laundry all turned into purple.
After these 3 accidents with them, I completely gave up on them and learned my lesson that incapable dry cleaner will make all the mistakes you can think of on ANY level: tailoring, dry cleaning, and even doing laundry. For those of you who can spend a little bit more and do not want to deal with these headache and troubles, go to another shop.

We came across these guys after our recent stay in NYC. Not only were they cheap, $ 1 per pound with a minimum of 10 pounds, but they were also fast and even delivered our clothes folded and bundled right back to our hotel at no extra charge. In total, it cost us $ 13 cleaned and delivered. Amazing.

The BEST dry cleaner/​tailors in the area! We moved into the neighborhood in October and had an awful experience with another cleaner. We then tried New Fresh Cleaners – what a difference! They are professional, courteous, efficient, inexpensive… the list just goes on! Our clothes look exceptional and feel great. They know how to take care of suiting, fur and all delicate materials — something that really matters. Pick up and delivery is included at no cost. Plus, if you have a rush job, they always accommodate! Why go anywhere else?!

I was really happy to see this move into the neighborhood (I’m by the one on Pearl Street). The guys are really helpful and always polite, and the clothes look great. The prices are reasonable for the area, and hours are definitely manageable. Also, they do pick ups and drop offs.

Easily the best wash and fold service I’ve used. They’re always on time and the price is hard to beat.

Found a Unilocal coupon to this neighborhood establishment. Service is excellent and the staff has gotten to recognize the family when we pass by. Turnaround time for local delivery is prompt and matches their estimates. They may end up rewashing your clothes if something doesn’t get out the first time. Nice touch.
Beware, not open Sunday!

I highly recommend creating an account and choosing between the various options of machine pressing, hand pressing, etc. The only option not listed is a wash & hang service for pants not needing to be ironed but wrinkle if folded. All it took was one phone call and the pants were redone for free with the more expensive service at no additional cost. I’ve been very please with my experience and highly recommend New Fresh Cleaners.

Got a few dress shirts cleaned here ($ 2 each — woohoo!) and a 20 pound bag of laundry. Total was $ 27.00. Service was nice and efficient. I researched some other places in the Financial District and they were not up to par. Thanks NFC!
