Play Dead

I saw this show early in its run. This was probably the most fun I’ve had at the theater in some time. It was creative, cool, magical, and full of surprises. The haunting atmosphere and interesting storytelling drew me in immediately. The audience was captivated and thrilled the entire show. I’ve gone to the haunted houses in the city around Halloween and felt bored. This is much better than a haunted house. I heard plenty of shrieks and screams.
I’m an avid theatergoer, but this show would appeal even to the non-​theatergoer. But, do not go if you’re afraid of the dark or supernatural. And do not bring kids.
I heard that Play Dead will close soon in late July. So if you want a thrilling, unique theater experience and a good scare, hurry and get tickets.
