Rain or Shine Dog Walks

I was a bit worried about searching for a dog walker/​sitter because the concept of handing out my key and opening up my home to a stranger was foreign to me. But when my friend recommended Raul, I decided to give it a go. The reviews don’t lie. Raul came by for an introduction to my little pup. So far, he’s been extremely reliable and I would highly recommend him!

An amazing experience with Raul and Corey!!! I had a month-​long project where I needed to be away most of the day. My initial plan was to get a dog sitter, but when she canceled at the last minute, I changed gears and decided to just get my boy a mid-​day walk. I contacted Raul on a Saturday afternoon and not only was he super friendly, but he was very quick to respond and accommodating on such short notice. We scheduled a meet-​n-​greet and were good to go. Raul is overall very friendly, warm, and professional. Most importantly, my dog was always happy and relaxed when I got home.

Best kept secret in Harlem– your dog will thank you for it. Raul, Rene and Corey are reliable and trustworthy. They also accommodate me whenever I need to reschedule or change pick up locations. And most important they love dogs. One day, I saw Raul walking my puppy from afar. Unbeknownst to Raul and my pup, I watched Raul tenderly pet my dog as they waited for the traffic light to change. We love Raul, Rene and Corey!

Raul and Corey are two amazing and prompt dog walkers that really cater to the needs of their clients. I was looking for a dog walker after the vet said my pup was overweight and I would need to walk her more. With a baby on the way and working full time, it was going to get harder to do that. So I sought out dog walking services and really wish I hadn’t been so pessimistic about it before (cost too high, reliability of service, etc.) and gotten my pup a walker sooner, especially with Rain or Shine. Raul (the owner) meets all of his clients beforehand and really gets to know your pup. He brings along the dog walker in the neighborhood who will be your average walker (mine was Corey). However, they switch out to ensure your pup doesn’t get to comfy with one walker and is okay with everyone involved (dogs included). I was a bit skeptic at first but my pup has been happier and more well-​tempered than before. She is not leaping as much to meet new dogs! I really wish my services didn’t have to end (I’m moving out of state) but I HIGHLY recommend them. They service East Harlem! That’s a big plus!

Raul and his team are great. He approached me months ago while walking my dog as I’m sure he saw me struggling with a brand new 10 month old, 70lb shelter adoption. I never forgot how nice he was on the street when he gave me his card. At the urging of my girlfriend to get a dog walker I immediately grabbed Raul’s card (yes, I still had it) and emailed him. He got back same day and worked out a time to come by and meet my dog Bourbon. They took him out for a 10 min walk to see how he was and they all hit it off. I was worried about Bourbon walking in a group but they wanted to try and I wanted Bourbon to have the socialization. He’s been doing great with Raul! Rain or shine is on point. They send daily reports of walks and keep you up to date with how your dog does. Hell, they even have sweatshirts! I’ve never seen a dog walking co. with swag and Id rock the swag anyday if they decide to sell it. If you’re debating finding a walker in the harlem area go with these guys. They love dogs and will set you at ease the second you meet them knowing your pup is in great hands.

I am so happy to have met these guys. I highly recommend them. The are very well organized and responsible. I had a lot of trouble finding someone to trust into my home and walk my dog but once I got to know them and started using their services I have had complete peace of mind. And my dog loves them and I have seen a difference in my dogs demeanor for the better. They allow my dog to socialize since unfortunately right now my schedule is so busy. What I LOVE the most is that they send you daily emails of where they walked the dog and attached is a map and time stamp! The prices are great too. I am so happy to have them and HIGHLY reccommend their company.

It is so great to know that I can take my time to get home because my puppy has been attended to. We needed to hire a sitter for our little dachshund puppy, and after researching my options fairly extensively, I am SO glad we went with Rain or Shine! Raul is an amazing sitter with our pup and I’m so glad for the companionship he offers Dunkin’ on our long days at work. Responsive, responsible, and extremely professional, Raul makes my new-​puppy-​parent nervousness melt away as I know that Dunkin’ will be in good hands after I leave! As others have mentioned, Raul uses a tracking system to let you know where he and your pup have been and for how long – even if he isn’t planning on leaving your home! This allows you to rest at ease and ensure that he has actually visited/​walked your dog. At the end of the day, he even sends a mini report letting you know the highlights of his time with your dog. I am so happy with Rain or Shine and can’t wait for Raul to start taking Dunkin’ on walks! I highly recommend without any hesitation!

Finding a dog walker in Manhattan isn’t the problem. Finding a dog walker that can fit my schedule and handle two Mastiffs was. Thanks to Raul, we no longer have to worry about this problem. Raul is an all-​around great guy. Definitely recommend him to be a part of your pet’s extended family.

I saw this guy before neighbour recommend to me, and I never tough he was a dog walker, actually I tough he was the owner teaching and playing with his own dogs. Well I decided to contact him and, what I discover? he is even better that I tough… precise! he comes on time he drop on time… How do I know? Well, he send to you an email showing with mapquest where he went, how many miles, how much time, how many calories… (he has this watch who allow to track this)… also, I asked him to give some pills for my puppie who was neuther and he follow the instructions… really he care… very responsable! no more words… ciao

Extremely well organized company, and more importantly Rain or Shine is a company that is great with dogs! Our pup Molly has enjoyed every group walk. It shows in her attitude and overall demeanor.

I have the kind of dog that groomers do not ask back. You know the kind — the little fluffy dog who has a big bark and a lot of attitude. I work 60 hours a week and I needed a dog walker, but I vacillated for years because I did not think there was anyone out there who could get on my pup’s good side. I set up an introductory dog walk with Raul and my dog Pogi immediately took to him. This is RARE. They forged a great connection that I greatly appreciate. Raul also has a GPS tracker that shows you where they went on their walk, and for how long. Now my pup exercises and gets to socialize with other dogs on group walks while I’m at work. Raul is awesome. I’d second everything that has been said below — he is very professional, attentive, and friendly. He is organized and if I have a last minute schedule change, he is able to accommodate it. I really appreciate his flexibility. Not only that but our dog loves him! It is a pleasure to come home to our puppy who has been played with on days we have to work late and can’t be with her ourselves. She is usually calm on those days, so we can tell Raul has spent some quality time with her!
I also love how he has a gps tracking system so we can see when he has been to the apartment. It allows for peace of mind.

Raul is very professional. My wife and I have rapidly changing work schedules and he always finds a way to accommodate. We appreciate the immediate email we receive following the walks. It always has a gps map and very detailed information about how the walk went. He also immediately sends an invoice via email. We trust him thoroughly and would recommend him to anyone.
