Starbucks

I’ve been swinging through this particular Starbucks more often, as I’m in that area once a week for a standing appointing on Thursday afternoons. Admittedly, though I’m going to 6^th and West 9^th, I’ll often get off of the A at 14^th and stroll down Greenwich Avenue just to patronize this location. Sure, the product is the same everywhere, but the staff is friendly, they serve with a smile*, and my drinks are always made well. I do love the seating in this location; the low and comfortable chairs near the front are so wonderful to sit in. If I have 15 minutes to kill, I love to kick back in them and people watch along Greenwich Avenue.
I definitely dig this location.
* — Well, if you smile at them and treat them with the kindness they deserve, you’ll get it back in kind. So many people can be rude and demanding at Starbucks. We’ve all seen it. I can never really blame the baristas when they return THAT to them in kind. Baristas work hard, on the whole! Unless any member of the service industry is outwardly rude to me for absolutely no reason, I respect the service they give me and treat them with common human decency. Sorry… I’m all up in my feelings regarding kindness to our fellow man today. Ha!

Mobile orders are prompt and tasty. Great cappuccino. Better barista than the usual Starbucks. Good place to hang out and watch the world pass by and enjoy a view of the park (when it will be completed).

Awful. Staff is super slow. Always make my drinks wrong! Go to the location at Christopher sq instead. Just a few blocks south and such better service and drinks!

I am not sure how to write a review of Starbucks.
I feel like it is like reviewing a Chipotle. Everyone knows about it.

OMG, no way.
Yes, way.
But seriously, I like this Starbucks. This one has a very cozy feel and it feels at home in the neighborhood rather than forcing its way in. There are a lot of locals hanging out all day working and there is a lot of natural light in the store. The service is always friendly and they are quick at turning out those coffees, too.

Normal coffee shop but the bathroom was literally the most disgusting bathroom I have ever seen in my life. As long as you don’t need to use it, then fine, but for a business to have that kind of filth makes me wonder about the whole place. Seriously — can’t unsee that.

The team is very sympathetic and the service is great! The seats are very comfortable and you can drink your coffee looking the movement through the window. Great job guys, really enjoyed your attention!

This is the first Starbucks that I get the worst Service ever I just ask for a venti ice vanilla latte with 5 pumps of vanilla that I pay for I saw the ladie to our the coffee to the glass but I didn’t see she put the 5 pumps of vanilla syrup I ask her to make it again because they think you not going to notice until you’re already out of the store are you going to be lazy enough not to come back they call the manager and the manager (his name is joe) said they will no doing again because he don’t want to
I have a latte grande almost every single day and is the first time I have that kind of problem I don give less that one start only because Unilocal don’t allow
Better train for you employees

One of most favorite starbucks locations in the city; especially in the fall. Nothing like getting a pumpkin spice latte and people watching/​shopping in the village for fall/​winter fashion. The service is decent but I don’t come for the service I come for the addictive coffee drinks lol. Satin himself could be making my drink and tell me to fuck off and I would be like ok can I get a pumpkin muffin to go with that in the plastic please lol all kidding aside I always have a pleasant experience when I come here.

Awful service, staff didn’t respect my order and discussed it with each other in front of me, saying «give it anyway who cares!».
Since I’m a tourist they thought I wouldn’t understand, sadly I did.

The staff is so nice here :) also a good size Starbucks of compared to others in Manhattan.

The draw of this Starbucks is the size. Lots of chairs to sit and get comfy. The baristas are on point, I have never had an employee mess up my drink and they are able to suggest similar drinks if yours happens to run out. A good one to visit.

Great location but the worst service. The line was huge and there was only one cashier, took forever to order a coffee. Afterwords they messed up my coffee not once or twice but 3 time!

Not a mellower Starbucks in NYC. Unless I’m desperate for a cuppa, I’ll by pass other Starbucks until I get to «my» place. No frenetic pace here, just peace and quiet, and even when it’s full it’s pleasant. Staff and baristas are great. My fave barista? James. James rocks. Not only does he make great drinks, he is the most genuinely happy and sweet person you’ll ever meet. His chai lattes are perfect. The only problem is I’m ruined for just about every other Starbucks in the city – the ones in midtown make me want to rip my hair out, they are so frantic. Never go away, Greenwich Starbucks.

Hands down the most wonderful group of people– walking in here always totally turns my day around. Brandon and his team are so happy and kind and quick, its like a breath of fresh air and exactly what a west village coffee shop should be. Bravo!

The staff makes drinks perfectly but there is something odd about this location in that there is often a moldy smell. It started a couple of years ago and this summer was intense. It makes the location feel dirty so that if I do go in here it’s to pick up a drink and run out with it otherwise I lose my appetite.

This is a wonderful Starbucks location very laid back with a nice vibe. Yes I said vibe, well caffeine and vibe go very well together. You do not want a bad vibe when getting your caffeine groove on. Well that is just for me!
Having been here on numerous occasions with a friend of mine and the staff is always friendly and kind. There is a wonderful communal table and other seats to relax.
My drink is always a Iced Grande Mocha Latte no whipped cream. It is just a really nice place to enjoy a good conversation about other people, food, parties, sex, money and more talk about other people. Come on who does not talk about other people?
I just love the location and the serene quality of this Starbucks, come on have you ever been to Astor Place Starbucks? This is the complete opposite!

This is my neighborhood Sbucks. Sbucks is my favorite place. This particular location has a great atmosphere and most of the staff is friendly… they need to work on ringing everyone in on that though.

One of the better starbucks in the city. Much larger, more open layout. It is more clean and the staff tends to be pretty helpful. I would always recommend using your local business, but if you have a craving for a frappucino, this is the one to use.
Also, it tends to not be ss crowded as I would imagine in this part of the city.

I can’t tell you how much I love just about everyone who works here. They’re good to me, and I’m good to them.
This is another great place to sit and read and/​or compute, and there is usually at least one piece of eye candy around. And, it’s also a nice spot for an occasional celebrity sighting.
