COMEHEREIFYOU’REHAVING A GREATDAY, ANDWANTITTOBERUINED! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Disclaimer: every other Starbucks I’ve been to has provided exceptional service! I love the Starbucks company! Now this location is usually bad, but today they really did it. I ended up not even getting a drink, cause they left such a bad taste in my mouth. I have a coupon that allows me to receive one free hand made beverage if I made 5 holiday beverage purchases, prior. And I was on the verge of getting it, but apparently their Starbucks employees don’t understand how to enter the coupon codes and have to speak to a supervisor or manager about it. Which is fine, but even the manager doesn’t know jack! I don’t like to argue these things so I told her nicely that it wasn’t expired, she said okay, and then she says I can only receive a holiday drink, and it clearly doesn’t, because I know how to read! [check photo i posted] Now I know this sounds shallow, and impulsive, and don’t get me wrong, I understand that people make mistakes, but the manager who was right in front of me telling her employee that it wasn’t valid, had her back to me the entire time, she didn’t even try to explain that it wasn’t valid. I bought 5 holiday drinks for this for god’s sake, give me some attention sheesh! And I’ve worked in the food business for years, I would never treat a customer that way. Service: –5STARS!

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to! I went during an «off» time, the line was super slow. The cashier was rude and unfriendly. I asked her about a snack and she gave me the biggest attitude. The place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. I understand it’s a busy place, but the garbage was overflowing, trash on the ground and on tables, the floor was sticky. This place is an embarrassment to the Starbucks name. Who manages this place?

The first time I got my grande pike, the cashier was really nice. When I came back for a refill, the same cheery cashier took my order. It was odd that he didn’t throw out my cup and get a new one so my cup still had the sleeve on it. The man behind me ordered 3 grande dark roast and I’m guessing the barista took my cup and 2 other cups and filled it with dark. I only realized this after I waited 3 minutes for my refill. I feel bad for the man who got my cup, I would have told him if I knew. I didn’t want to believe the reviews saying that they mess up a lot… But I guess its true.

Right atop the 34th/A/C/E station’s northeastern exit, it’s very very busy but little different than most midtown Starbucks. It’s a normally sized location & the volume is taken care of quickly so I can’t say much more than it’s reliable & it’s there. A shortage of tables & matching chairs to take care of the less time-pressed tourists who come en masse, especially from the New Yorker hotel across the street, could use fixing. The staff is brisk but overall courteous. Menu & items are standard SBUX. Good people watching at the window standing counter.

How can a starbucks be this bad? I stopped in for an iced vanilla soy latte. The cashier was rude the barista was rude. I saw them being rude to everyone. It’s like they all hate their lives. I got a size small and they had no small straws out, when I asked for a small straw they said they had none in a rude manner. They didn’t even apologize. What the heck??? And my latte tasted like crap!!! I have no idea what the barista did but it was wrong, I get this order so many times from starbucks and it tastes great. Yikes! Steer clear of this one!!! They are also slooowwwwww and they let the line get super long. A lot of starbucks are busy but they keep it moving… not this place…

This is definitely the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Everything was«discontinued», their snacks were pretty limited, and the layout of this store is confusing. The cashier was pretty nice, but he seemed clueless as to why all their drinks were discontinued. Why have it on your menu if you don’t have it in your store? I wonder if they just didn’t have the ingredients so they told us it was discontinued. Sad because this is super close to my office, but never coming back here again.

I’ve been here at least 15 times because it’s close to my office and to make a long story short, you’re better off going to the Starbucks by one penn plaza or on 35th and 7th. This location has the slowest moving lines, and I’ve seen baristas here give attitude back to their customers on three separate occasions. This morning I ordered an ice coffee with brevi and was handed what is essentially a venti cup of milk with ice. You expect baristas to mess up every once in a while, but this location is almost guaranteed to get your order wrong.

Other than spelling Jeremy as «Germany,» I thought the service was great — especially for how busy they were. It’s a small place, so if it’s too busy, I recommend walking a block to the next Starbucks and trying your luck.

I have never in my life been more pissed off because of poor customer service. I came here a few hours ago to get a quick mint tea prior to seeing a movie. It was crowded, it’s in the middle of the city during traffic hours– that was expected. What I didn’t expect was the rudest Latina barista I have ever encountered. I handed him my gold card and a $ 20 to pay for my drink; before I even get to tell him that I only want to pay for my drink and not load all of it, he swipes and loads it. I ask him did he really just do that, his response«Yes, next customer please.» That was the first and second straw for me. Being the more passive than aggressive girl I am, I decide to just let him serve the other people waiting. Round 2. I approach him again for the second time long story short, verbatim this effing bitch tells me that there’s nothing I can do to get my money back, it’s already been done. At this point I wanna just throw my bulky iPhone case into his smirking face. I walk away, call the Starbucks 1800 number, Nicholas from customer support says that’s not true and he shouldn’t be saying that. Go back AGAIN and call him on his bullshit. Finally manager with a side of attitude of course, comes out and gives me back my money. Normally I would say I’m never going back again but I think I just might. Clearly someone has to teach this dude customer service :) I am not intimidated easily barista

Longest lines ever! A few of the baristas are nice & enthusiastic, but mostly cranky– which I don’t entirely blame them as there is a constant flow of people and always and line to the door.

The baristas can not be any more rude ! — registers are nice enough to even acknowledge you are there and crack a smile, but the baristas … Not so much! They look like they hate what they do! Then why work at a Starbucks !?

I had one terrible guy at the register who was taking other customers ahead of me who were in line after me. Bad management? Not sure but he was unapologetic about it when I confronted him. Didn’t even try to explain outside of «he was here before you» and said«just wait.» Not cool. Never going there again.

Terrible service. Just got a coffee and they have no sugar of any kind. Rather than go to the store to buy sugar, I was told, «oh well I think we are getting some tomorrow». Only three things a coffee shop needs to have.

Tiny — about 5 tables and a tiny bar by the window. Very little seating. Moves super slow — waited over 10 minutes at 3:30 for a coffee. Staff is slow. Too crowded. Not a place to go and hang out. Grab and go from here!

I wish I give negative stars. First, the place is filthy, milk and other perishables are left out right on the counter for who knows how long. Second, and most importantly, they are completely oblivious to allergies. My sister has a severe dairy allergy; which usually isn’t a problem bc they have separate dairy and soy machines. Well, even after we alerted the staff to her allergy, they made her drink in the dairy pitcher. If I had not been watching, my sister could have been killed. When I pointed it out to the man making her drink he laughed and said the dairy pitcher was clean. Well I saw it and it wasn’t, and regardless that is irrelevant. He gave me a serious attitude even after I explained the severity of the situation. The manager however was very understanding and helpful, she is the one positive asset that this Starbucks location has. If you have allergies, steer clear of this place.

Worst Starbucks in Manhattan. As another reviewer expressed: there is not one time of day thy manage to do without a long line. I tried rush-hour. 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm — long line always. 3 – 10 minutes every time you patronize them. No good.

This Starbucks is always BUSY! I have never walked in & not found a line. I’ve always been a fan of Starbucks, however this experience was NOTGOOD! The Very Berry Coffee Cake was DELICIOUS! The Hot Chocolate was DISGUSTING! I always order this drink & I’ve never really had a bad one but this was down right awful. I don’t know if the Barista was new or just off today, but yeah TERRIBLE! Steering clear of this Starbucks there are plenty of others in the area so I don’t have to worry about issues with taste.
