Tacos Y Quesadillas Mexico

Just finished eating my Lengua, Alpastor and Chrozio tacos from here. It was exactly what I wanted and more. Lengua is a MUST! So much flavor and holds up against the amazing green sauce and guac.
3 $ each, such a steal for the area! Can’t wait to try everything else they have!

Just had two tacos today — lengua and pork al pastor. Both were delicious!
However, I was a little annoyed because I requested tomatoes, lettuce, guacamole and cheese to which the lady said it was extra so I said okay. However, after I paid and took it home, found that it didn’t have any lettuce, tomatoes, cheese or guacamole. I would advise you check your order if you got any modifications even though it’s awkward to open up the wrapping at the cart or you might make my mistake. Next time I’ll just get it as it comes.

I’ve walked right by this cart for years and finally stopped by last night. I ordered two tacos: a roast pork, and a chorizo. Wow. These were sooo good I have to stop by again tonight. This time I’ll get 3.
I should say tacos are a little pricey for the size ($ 2.50 for 1), but the taste makes it so worth it.

The food is great, though it does take a REALLY long time. Open really late, relatively cheap, and delicious.

First visit… i will come back for sure… I had the Torta Cubanas… Breathtaking…almost an outer body experience… So much awesomeness in one sandwhich…

They have two locations: one on 9^th by roosevelt hospital and one on broadway at 71^st.
I would say this place would be a solid ³⁄₅ in Southern California, which makes it ⁵⁄₅ here in Manhattan.
Good Al Pastor tacos and Burritos.
Huaraches are weird as hell from here, they put a whole wet slimy cold chipotle pepper out of a can on the one I ordered. Strange and gross.
Tacos, burritos, and Nachos are great, about a dollar overpriced though.
Hot sauce is great also.
If you can afford Rosa Mex, go there instead. Do not under any circumstances go to Harry’s Burritos on Columbus.

Okay, so I ask my coworkers where I can get some authentic tacos in NYC and one guy said Taco Bell and the other pointed me to a taco truck where they have potatoes and coleslaw and pumpkin seeds in their tacos. OK WTF.
Apparently getting taco recs from people in NY is as bad as going to a mexican hole in the wall and ordering a cheesburger then puking in the back seat of your aunt’s car from food poisoning, forcing her to sell her car. Side note: sorry auntie. i still feel bad about that.
Any taco place that doesn’t sell Al Pastor tacos is a thumbs down in my book. This place hit the spot and now i know where to go for my taco cravings.
5 star for New York tacos. but not the best tacos i’ve ever had so going to have to knock it down to 4

Eat here! Best tacos I’ve had in Manhattan. It’s so rare to find authentic Mexican and this woman does it right. And guess what? Now she’s open late! Enjoy.

I work across the street from this cart and I love Mexican food, and I really don’t know why I haven’t eaten their tacos before. I once had a torta, which is like a nice deli sandwich, but the tacos are really really good! I had a beef tongue and a chicken taco and both were great-​double corn soft tortilla, the meat, fresh cilatro and finely chopped marinated onions, topped with a tasty avocado sauce. The hot sauce that comes on the side wasn’t really hot but gave a great chili flavor. and they also give you some radish slices and a slice of lime to squeeze on top! I am trying the chalupas very soon! and the rest of the menu:) Overall great authentic food with little fuss and lots of flavor!

Holy moly! This little cart serves up some delicious tacos. I’ve had these for lunch and a late night snack and no matter what time of the day they’re always made fresh. They have a variety of legit meats like beef tongue, pigs ear, etc. Tacos are just $ 2.50 a pop which isn’t bad at all. Three of them make-​up a nice sized meal.
They also serve quesadillas, burritos and chalupas. All of these are perfect to satisfy any post-​drinking late-​night cravings.
Lucky for me they’re located a few blocks from my apartment. Supposedly they have a cart at 70^th/​Broadway as well although I can’t vouch for that one since I’ve never been.

This is the place to go if you’re hungry and want tacos.
I had a bistec burrito which was delicious. (Don’t forget to add pico de gallo). Green salsa is not as hot as the red salsa.

Even non-​meat eaters like me can enjoy the food from this food truck. Tacos Y Quesadillas Mexico has perfected the meat-​free cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla is flavorful and has the right crunch. I usually buy my lunch from this food truck at least once a week and have not been disappointed yet. The food is consistent and always filling. The line can be long especially during lunch time but I’ve stood in line in the heat, rain and snow and was always pleased that I did.
My only regret is that I don’t eat meat and cannot savor the other items in the menu!

The best Mexican food in a cart that you can get. But I haven’t been coming to this location lately because there’s a new guy working there. He’s the only one that speak perfect English, but I ordered a chicken burrito one time and the chicken was still raw on top of that it was half the size I normally get another time he made my tacos to skimpy, now I rather go to the location on 70^st & broadway the thin girl with the mole on her face is there and she makes everything right. The other is a slightly cubby guy shaved with a tan cap he’s very good and he’s usually at this location but not lately, BRING HIM BACK 5 star for everything only from these 2 people

It’s a good sign when you are at a taco cart and the only chatter you hear around you is in Spanish. That was my experience today when I decided to try out this unsuspecting Mexican food cart at the corner of Broadway and 53^rd. Yes, it was 20 degrees out, but the wait was well worth it.
I ordered 2 tacos with carnitas, $ 2.50 each. The carnitas was perfectly flavored and cooked topped with a creamy avocado guacamole. With a splash of lime and the addition of the crispy radishes and salsa, they were utterly satisfying.
The only downside was that the cart is a one woman show and the wait was a good 10 minutes in blistery cold weather. I’ll definitely be back.

I eat here two times a week usually. Taco trucks are one of my specialties. This one rocks.
They served a special Chile Relleno today. This is the dish that separates good from very good Mexican food for me. It was very good.
I also like that there are always a group of spanish speaking people ordering food here.
There are more than one cart with this name. I go to the one at 53 /​Broadway.

Super authentic Mexican
The quesadilla with chorizo! The nachos! Both things I never ever order in regular Mexican restaurants in the city … But from This truck its a religious experience!
So so so so so so so so so so so delicious! And they’re 24hrs.
PS same truck/​workers/​owners are on corner of 70^th and broadway :)
Pps … Not that it matters as I would still patronize this truck even if they cursed at me (its that good) But the owners are super super sweet and friendly

I went to the 53^rd and Broadway location but don’t see it listed on Unilocal so i’ll just post here. I had the tortas cubana for lunch, which at $ 8 is the most expensive item on the menu. This is a must try for anyone who loves huge sandwiches. The torta cubana consists of ham, cheese, a fried egg, carnitas, al pastor, cecina, chorizo, peppers, hot sauce, and green sauce. The thing was humungous. The sandwich is so big it can be a little messy to eat and my bread started to break apart by the end, but it was well worth it. One of the best and most interesting sandwiches i’ve had.

My favorite lunch truck (and it’s right outside my office!).
I can’t tell you how amazing this truck is, if you haven’t had something from it, you must go and try it yourself. I usually get the chicken burrito and both the chicken and the rice inside are to die for. The rice is so fluffy and just the right texture. I go here at least once a week.
Also, it’s $ 6.50 for a burrito, which is damn cheap for this amazing quality.

Love the authentic taste of the tacos — the soft corn tortillas is the perfect consistency and the meat is never too much or too little. The price is always great and I love the radishes. Best of all, they have guava juice!
Truly reminds me of the street food I ate when I lived in Central America, except I don’t have to pour my juice into a plastic bag to take it on the go.
One of my favorite go-​to places in the area.

4 stars for being the better Mexican taco truck in the area, but –1 star for not being the best that I know Mexican tacos could be (tacos in Mexico or California). However, I know that this place makes it more authentic and tasty, with the Latin American music blasting in the background, than any other Mexican restaurant in the area.
Give them a shot and see how tacos are really made.
