Established in 2006.

The Delighted Dog has provided specialized, individual and small group dog walking services in the UES for over six years. Applying principles of holistic care to everything that we do, we provide personalized attention and year round, reliable service– the same values with which we have now expanded to providing pet taxi, home boarding, training and consulting services (visit website for service details).

Our goal is to help you achieve a balanced, healthy, fulfilling relationship with your animal friend. For that purpose, we give our clients with the necessary tools and support to cope with the demanding NYC lifestyle.

Philosophy– We believe that the most important aspect of a dog’s life is a healthy amount of communication with humans and other dogs, particularly their owners. In this regard, we view pets as not very different in needs from humans, only that they use a different language than we do. We are here to help you bridge that communication gap.

Although his pet venture started in a rather ‘accidental’ way, he’s turned out to be a natural when it comes to communicating with animals. His expertise with dogs has earned him the unconditional loyalty of his clients, who have been able to build deeper, more loving and overall healthier relationships with their dog companions thanks to Jose’s ability to bridge the often existing communication gap between loving pet owners and their dogs.

Jose is also bilingual (in human language, that is), punctual, committed, honest and extremely creative, both inside and outside his dog walking shoes.
