Love, love, love Nozomi… She is absolutely AWESOME! I got so many compliments every time I get my hair done. Everyone tells me I look gorgeous… Cannot be HAPPIER! :)

I wish I could split my review into 2. The only reason I gave a whole 2 stars was because the colorist, Deirdre did a really good job on my full highlights. I used a groupon deal, so in my mind it wasn’t too expensive.
Now, getting to everything else. When I hear Warren Tricomi, I think of a high end city salon. This was not what I experienced. The salon is overcrowded with crap. There’s absolutely no reason to have a manicure station in there. The salon was not overly clean and looked dated. Also, it appears they don’t have enough room for the staff because they were just sitting all over the place.
For my haircut, I have to take a bit of responsibility. I didn’t ask how much it was beforehand, yet the $ 185 price was a major shock. Especially because the cut that I received could have been done in any barber shop. The guy cut straight across the back and then diagonally in the front. That was all. No layering, which I asked for, no texturing. Also, the man smelled like an ash tray which was gross and his hands were shaking when he was cutting.
Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Henry is AMAZING! Love, love, love! My hair looks incredible, and he gave me exactly what I asked for. I was actually a bit disappointed because I allowed for much more to be taken off my hair as most stylist tend to do. Superb cutting skills to a tee! Thank you Henry

The worst hair experience I have ever had. Started at the flatiron salon booking wrong stylist
Was only a colorist not a hair cutter. Stylist they gave me was just out of a laser procedure should not have been on the salon floor. He did not listen to one word I said re styling. I left and had to but a street hat. called the shop and was offered a redo with the owner.
He did the best he could not good at all he also said this was the worst haircut he ever saw.
Never go to this highly rated shop.

I had a great experience today!!! Thank you, Henry, Sachi and very nice girl on the redemption ! I was a little bit concern going first time using Groupon, but everything was great from the first minute! I love my highlight (Sachi did a great job!) and Henry cut my hair perfectly! I think Henry got a real talent, he very passionate, professional and has a great personality. It was my first time and definitely not the last one. Thank you Sachi for being so thoughtful !

Umm… all I see are roots what about you? I would expect this to be what my hair looks like after a months growth or so, it has been less than a week. Courtney highlighted my hair. –blonde highlights She is a very nice person, I wish the highlights were as nice as she is…
I would also like to note that I have had my highlights done at the Plaza location and the colorist there did a superior job.

I’ve been to this salon only once for a cut and blow dry, long time ago I don’t even remember the stylist but i remember she costed me 150 $ more because as soon as she touched my front part of the hair she told me my hair was thinning so i freaked out I thought I was losing hair and rushed to a dermatologist only to have me confirmed it was just white hair growing. What the-​heck didn’t she shut her mouth? This was my only and last experience with this salon, I will never forget this episode!

Wow, I just had my hair highlighted by Jason and it looks gorgeous. I generally only do balayage and am very apprehensive when I see foil, but he did one of the most incredible jobs I’ve ever had and I’m a mega hair snob. Not only did he meet my expectations and some, he also dealt with my super specific pickiness and hit every chord perfectly. I can’t say enough about his coloring skills. Thanks Jason!!!

Sachi did an AMAZING job on my color. She turned my brassy highlights and horrible roots into beautiful soft highlights. Exactly what I wanted and not easy to achieve as my hair is naturally jet black. She also worked very quickly and efficiently as my hair is very long (waist length) and thick and I was able to leave the salon in a reasonable amount of time and not feel like I spent the entire day there. Will be back to see her again!!!

I thought the whole purpose of a Groupon is to experience what a business has to offer for a deal. Apparently not here. I purchased a full head of highlights, and while the stylist was very nice, she refused to blow out my hair. She handed me the hair dryer and told me I could do it myself since that is not included in the Groupon deal. Furthermore, a toner was not applied, so my hair turned out brassy. I walked out of the salon looking like a hot mess. Even the stylist just kept staring at my course hair. I was shocked that a salon with the respected name of Warren Tricomi would let me walk out looking this way. Before the salon defends themselves by saying they don’t include those services in the groupon deal, I will state again that the whole purpose of a Groupon is to allow someone to experience what a business has to offer for a deal. If that’s not the case, then don’t offer your services on Groupon. Or at least state that toner and a blow out are not included in the highlight deal. I wouldn’t have bothered purchasing this deal since other respected high end salons do offer it in theirs. While I understand that most people jump from salon to salon using these type of services, there are still a lot of us who don’t. I have curly and coarse hair so finding the right colorist/​stylist is not easy. Therefore, I am loyal when I find the right one. I showed up to my event with my hair just the way it was. When asked, what happened to your hair? «Warren Tricomi happened,» was my response.

The best haircut I’ve ever gotten was from Angélique at Warren Tricomi. She’s very talented and professional. She listened to what I was looking for and my hair looked amazing for weeks after. I highly recommend her!
The salon itself is clean and comfortable without feeling pretentious. Yes, it’s pricey, but it’s worth it. Can’t wait to go back!

Sachi knows how to highlight my hair giving it a natural yet stunning look. It is never done in chunks but in precision and fine strokes. She constantly keeps up with new trends and techniques – beforehand, she specialized her training when she lived in Japan. Coloring is her passion and you can sense this the moment you start your consultation. Sachi is the sweetest stylist and will undoubtedly make you feel so comfortable during your appointment.

Have been going to get my hair cut by Maria for almost 2 years now. She understands exactly what I want every single time. She is thorough about how YOU want your hair to look and she creates it so that you step out of the salon looking amazing! I got my hair cut today here by Nozomi and it is the best haircut I have had in years. It was the first time I had my hair cut by her. She was amazing. Super nice and my hair looks and feels amazing. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a quality cut. She was really good at listening to what I wanted and making it happen. As someone with long hair It was great how even though my haircut was very different from what I had she didn’t cut off too much length. Which as someone with long hair I always feel like most stylists cut way too much.
The salon is nice, comfortable and clean and in a great location.

I went to Warren Tricomi at the Plaza for the first time today– and was absolutely delighted with it. After going to multiple 5^th Avenue and Madison Avenue salons over the years, I was ready for a change and followed my hair stylist to this salon. The interior is immaculately designed in an Art Deco style, but it feels very comfortable and relaxed. Service was excellent, quick and spot-​on. I highly recommend seeing Jasmine for cuts and Demi for color. You won’t be disappointed.
Although it’s pricey– I feel my services were worth it.

If your looking for a great colorist. Go see Karen! She is an amazing colorist. One of the best in her field. I followed her from Ted Gibson salon and love how she does my hair. She is open to your thoughts and really describes and informs what is best for your hair. She is a sweetheart and I always have a great experience when I’m there. The salon is very clean and neat and on fifth avenue. So you can’t go wrong.

5 stars go to Courtney and Dee — they were great! I got a discounted rate through gilt for full head of highlights which I used today, I picked Courtney after reading some of the reviews. She’s very cool and listens to what you want exactly. When I arrived I was approached quickly and someone took my coat and Courtney came and got me from the front. Also, everyone offered me water coffee tea whatever a few times which I always am a big fan of.
Took the standard processing time, about 2 and a half hours — I’m a brunette and wanted to go very blonde– for the first time of the season getting highlights she lifted me a lot so I was really pleased with the results. Still looked really natural and blended naturally with my actual color. Between her and Dee (she was assisting her with my color processing and washing ect) she always made sure to check the lift and even did some extra stuff at the sink to make it more ashy for me since I’m not a fan of reds or warm tones.
Dee styled me and she was very cool and did a great job, these ladies definitely took their time to make sure I was pleased with my hair– Dee even mentioned if it was too light we could always do another toner if I wasn’t happy.
Maybe some of the bad reviews on here depend if you are an appt or walk in, or who you actually schedule your appt with. I only can speak for the colorist but I’m really happy I found them thru gilt and I would definitely pay full price for half a head or single processing color here (full head is about $ 300 usually)
Didn’t get a stink eye or any attitude when checking out with my voucher, I feel like the only thing I can comment on is them having one person checking in people was the same one checking people out. They should definitely have TWO people there. The girl was nice but I think she was trying to deal with this walk in really pushing her to get her in today when she was trying to tell them they were totally booked and then cashing me and another lady out who were patiently waiting.
Anyways, if your looking for a good colorist now you know who to go to!

Okay, I went for my second manicure from bloom spot and I don’t think I will be using the third.
It started out okay, the manicurist was very friendly, let me try a few polishes on before committing to the one I brought with me. The filing job was lousy, my nails were all different shapes. My cuticles were a mess and the manicure chipped by the end of the day!
They also used that cheap quick dry nail spray which (in my experience) dulls the manicure and makes it chip faster. I also felt like I was rushed out. Not given any time to allow the manicure to dry (hence why she used the spray).
I will not be coming back.
