Z&s Convenience Store

In a city inundated with small corner bodegas that seem to all be virtually all the same. Z&S decided to create a unique niche in the market and do something I haven’t seen anywhere else before (except in the Pennsylvania/​Maryland chain of Sheetz). Z&S has created a mecca of prepackaged snacks and ignored almost any other kind of product (they do have a small selection of things like aspirin and other essential non-​edibles behind the counter but this is a fraction of their inventory). The place is immaculately clean and the person working there was very nice. When you enter you’ll see a wall of virtually every chip, nut, candy bar, health bar, soda, cupcake, candy, or gum that you could be hankering for. By no means does Z&S have anything that you won’t find anywhere else, and they don’t have anything freshly prepared, but never before have you had a clean little spot that has compiled so many personal prepackaged snacks in one place. If you’re walking down the street in the area and don’t have time or the hunger for a regular meal and just need a drink or a small bite Z&S is your kind of place.
