We serve refreshing drinks with many exotic flavors. Boba Tea was invented in Taiwan by placing Tapioca Pearls (boba) into household tea. Boba Tea was then brought to America in the 1980s and was infused with flavors such as mango and strawberry to provide a delectable taste. The word boba is Anglicized as «bubble», creating the new name «Bubble Tea».

In the 2000s, new juice filled bobas were invented. These bobas are made by soaking small amounts of frozen fruit juice infused with Calcium Lactate Gluconate in Sodium Alginate. When the Calcium Lactate Gluconate reacts with the Sodium Alginate, a thin coating surrounds the frozen juice. After the coating is created the juice capsule is placed in warm water, the juice capsule forms into a sphere. This process is called Reverse Spherification.

Annie’s Bubble Tea also serves shakes and smoothies for non tea drinkers. These drinks also come with boba of the customers choice.

Established in 2014.

This business was opened July 1^st by Joshua Moldstad; the business is named after Josh’s childhood friend Annie Leifermann. Annie’s Bubble Tea is locally owned and is not part of franchise.
