History

Established in 1975.

Victor Barke’s Complete Basement Systems is a family owned and operated business. We started out working from our home garage with one truck, to our current location with a full warehouse & vehicle fleet. We service a 150 mile radius of Mankato that includes Minneapolis, St Paul, the greater Twin Cities area, St Cloud area, all of southern Minnesota, parts of western Wisconsin, Mason City, Iowa and northern Iowa.

Business Owner

Victor Barke’s Complete Basement Systems is family owned and operated. Victor and Kathy, along with their 2 sons, Nate and Nick, have been working side-​by-​side since the boys have been young tots.

Vic has been in the building trades all of his life and self-​employed since 1975. In 1990, he saw a need for quality basement waterproofing services in southern Minnesota, Twin Cities Metro, northern Iowa and founded Complete Basement Systems. Since then, he has installed many waterproofing systems, with his own hands and consulted with thousands of homeowners to design effective solutions for them.

Through the years, Kathy has had many roles in the office setting from customer service to bookkeeping to office manager. There are many roles to be performed on a daily basis.

All of the family members have earned the highly esteemed title «Certified Waterproofing Professional». Vic and Kathy’s company has grown to be one of the most respected basement waterproofing contractors in the region.
