I’ve shopped at Walgreens on Madison in Mankato for years.
Positives: Great central location on the way to pretty much everything. Store is clean, more than adequate parking and has two pick up prescription drive up lanes. Good selection of products in store — this is also where I buy all my make up, most of the skin lotions/​products etc. We use the pharmacy there for our occasional prescriptions.
Negatives: This is one busy place — wait times can be long for picking up prescriptions but not excessive. Often times when I go to the register at the front there is no one there but when they are there they are always nice and professional. They stopped carrying my favorite cocoa butter products :)
Overall highly recommend!

While a nice, big, 24 hour store (the only one in Mankato), I’ve never gotten the impression that employees were super thrilled about helping me/​my being there. I once sat on the ground in front of the hair dryers for 45 minutes, looking up and comparing 2 different ones. The girl who worked there acknowledged seemingly everyone else in the area, except for me — and while no one else wanted her help, I actually did.
The morning cashier, Kathy, is SUPER NICE, one of my favorite Walgreens employees ever, though I’ve also run into some rude Walgreens’ employees here (younger girls).
All in all, a decent Walgreens.
