We taught ourselves to make soap in the kitchen of our log cabin home back in 1995 and haven’t been able to stop ever since. Today we manufacture our natural products in a small facility next to our rural home. Sorry, our facility is not open to the public., but please visit our website anytime.

I discovered A Wild Soap Bar last week at the HOPE farmers market. I love the Woof Wild Natural Dog Shampoo Bar (super emollient) so much I went back today to pick up some Christmas gifts.
All the soaps smell so good and the kits are so ecofriendly and prettily packaged. I picked up a Shaving Soap Kit for my Daddy, a Soap Sampler for my Sis and a Naked Soap Bar for myself (it came very highly recommended for my sensitive skin by Maggie). Maggie the bartender even offered me a full refund if I did not like it! I LOVE it! My skin is so sensitive and dry the only soap I can use is baby wash. I am so excited to find an adult bar soap that is so emollient it feels oily in a good way!

A Wild Soap Bar is a great, customer-​service oriented company. The founder, Maggie, and her family use natural ingredients from their surroundings in Texas to make hand-​made, natural, olive oil soaps.
A Wild Soap Bar gets an «A» for customer service. Maggie quickly replies to any inquiries. When I ordered a ton of soaps for a women’s shelter (see below), she even worked with me to mark down the soaps to a fairly reasonable clearance price. She also has a few links on her web site where you can familiarize yourself with her company their values.
The soaps are a good size, smell great, and clean well. A Wild Soap Bar even offers a money-​back guarantee if you are not satisfied with their cold-​process soaps.
I recently ordered 43 (the entire remaining stock) of the Teach Peace soaps from the soapRISING series, and I had them all sent to my favorite women’s shelter so that the women there could enjoy some great soaps, too. I LOVED the Teach Peace soaps, and that’s the reason why A Wild Soap Bar gets 4 stars from me instead of 5; the soapRISING series is being discontinued. Apparently, it wasn’t selling well, but it was really cool to me to be able to buy soaps to support all kinds of causes (everything from the Teach Peace Foundation to hunger programs). I suggested rotating which soaps were deemed fundraisers (for example, have the Bluebonnet soap be the one that raises funds for Feed America for a while, then have the Desert Sage soap raise money for Teach Peace, etcetera), but I don’t know that Maggie has any plans to do that in the near future.
I’m not sure that I’ll be ordering as many soaps from A Wild Soap Bar now that the soapRISING soaps are pretty much cleared out, because I’m all about good causes, but if you’re looking for a great, natural soap made by people who truly care about their product, their customers, and the planet, check out A Wild Soap Bar.
