Just finished an exhausting 8 month divorce process and cannot thank Cynthia and Andrea enough. They were honest, fair, and quick to respond to my many questions. Atty. Hanley recently represented me and was very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. She fully understands the law and keeps up to date. She clearly and logically outlined my options and their pros /​cons. My divorce was not a simple one and she kept the process on track and moving forward. I recommend her.

Divorce is confusing enough without a lawyer that sees no role for a man in his children’s lives. I am a good father and unfortunately had a wife that was unwilling to accept that the marriage was over so she told as many lies as she could about me to take the one thing I really cared about … my daughters. This lawyer forgot about court dates, argued the other sides case and when I finally came to the conclusion she was just taking my money while providing no service I requested my papers. She asked me if I was looking for another attorney and I said yes as I thought it would be unfair to just drop her without notice. In response to me looking for another attorney she sent a letter to the court saying she was dropping me as a client as communication was impossible. effectively supporting the other sides case. I thought this was insane as the only reason she was doing this was because I had out of courtesy told her I was seeking other representation.
It’s taken me 6 years to undo the damage this law office did to my family. I now have shared custody of my children only because their mother’s best friend is now single with her and she is no longer bitter. Had I used a different lawyer or represented myself I could have saved my daughters and myself years of grief and years of time with my daughters I will never get back.
UPDATE 10÷18÷12:
I noticed Cynthia has recently posted that she has never met me and would like to discuss her glowing record of defending men. I find this interesting since after I first posted she wrote me a letter saying she would like to discuss my review and did not realize I was not happy with her services. Yes she sent me a letter and mailed it to my home address based on my username of KenG … a person she claims never to have met. I will be posting this letter from her to my blog along with a screen grab of this posting and other communications with her offices. I have court documents, emails, bank statements and canceled checks that also speak to the fact I was a client of her law firm.
As a person looking for a lawyer you need to ask yourself. Why would she come onto Unilocal an lie? If my review is inaccurate sue me. She’s a lawyer. She’s on here because I’m right. She’s a bad lawyer in my opinion and if you need legal services my best advice is to look elsewhere.
