We are a family owned and operated practice specializing in eye examinations and visual health (glaucoma pressure checks and dilation are always included in your exam). Making an appointment in advance for an eye examination is strongly recommended. We also do contact lens fitting and dispensing, therapeutic optometry, and refractions for eyeglasses. Our dispensary contains about 300 frames, including Lucky, Puma, Guess, Rampage, Nickelodeon, and Airlock. We also carry many varieties of contact lenses, from daily wear to multifocals, eye-​color changing contacts, RGP lenses, and extended-​wear soft lenses. We are always happy to help you in the event of an emergency outside of office hours. There is no after hours fee; we just want you to feel better. History

Established in 1977.

Dr. Smith bought the building where his practice is shortly after finishing Medical School in 1977. We are an entirely family owned and operated practice that takes great pride in patient interaction, care, and dedication that patients desire.

We are located on Main Street in Historic Downtown Mansfield. The building was completed in 1895 and originally housed a saloon until Prohibition in the 1930s. After World War II, a pharmacy moved into the building. Before Dr. Smith established his practice, the building was home to a record store.
