Best Western Plus Executive Inn & Suites

Nice, up to date clean rooms. Service at the desk was friendly. The pool and hot tub were both clean. The wifi was painfully slow, one of the worst I’ve ever used at a hotel. Also, the breakfast was supposed to start at 6 but they had a sign up that said it wouldn’t start till 7:30. I missed my breakfast because of this. I would come back, but the wifi and breakfast were a bummer.

Sad to review so low, as everyone was very nice, but service is all in the details. Stayed for 5 days to visit family and we could never get the housekeeping quite right.
They had that ‘help us save water’ sign that asked you to leave your towels hanging if you would re-​use them, which we did. The first day they replaced them. The 2^nd day we came back to no towels or bathmat. The 3^rd day was towels but no bathmat. The 4^th was the same and the last day they didn’t bother to clean the room at all.
There was communication with the manager as this went on, but things never got worked out.

Can’t believe some of these reviews, we had four rooms and every one was different but clean and comfortable, tv fridge, air con, comfortable beds. A little problem was soon rectified by reception, free parking, swimming pool, free breakfast. We were sorry we could not stay longer (only overnight stop from Yosemite to Sanfrancissco,)and enjoy the additional facilities. Eating places nearby and also a launderette, (do have an onsite washer and dryer)

Filthy sheets and seeing the stains and the hair it is clear that the sheets do not get washed. We were told that we could come to the front desk to get a clean set. Huh? Wow!

was here for 9 weeks for work and on the last day my car was broken into and all my luggage was stolen. for the most part the trip was good and Curtis and his staff were great but all my stuff was stolen and my car had its window smashed in.

I stayed here hoping it would be a good place to stay on my business trip up to Manteca. My room was cleaned and stuff disappeared out of my room. I confronted the front desk about it and he said that there was nothing there when it was cleaned. I don’t understand how my things just disappeared when I was gone at work. I’m still here now and they’re trying to figure out what happened. Will update if anything comes of it.. . But I would not recommend this place!

I am sitting on the couch in my room while I write this. The suite with a queen bed has a separate living room area with a couch, night stand, coffee table and TV on the dresser enclosing the microwave and fridge. Awesome. The bed area has its own TV, as well. Double awesome. Plenty of plugs, Xbox friendly tvs, a/​c works great, bathroom is complete with everything you need. The room and bathroom were clean. The lady at the front desk was very nice and check in was quick. Only small complaint is parking, but other than that this place is awesome.

We stayed one night here on our way out of Yosemite and really like the place. Front desk and all other staff we encountered were very friendly and courteous and the room was very nice and clean. Grounds could use a little up-​keep but all in all it’s a nice, comfortable place to sleep.

Not worth the change. Stay at the Holiday Inn across the street. Much cleaner, doesn’t smell like cigarettes and the staff are much more hospitable. This place has hot water. That’s about all I have to say about that.

I reserved a non smoking room and it completely reeked of cigarettes and Marijuana smoke.

This place was not so clean. The sketchy guys outside of my room made me feel unsafe. The girl at the front desk was nice. However the overall feeling I got here was shady. Cops were in the parking lot often. Spend the extra money and stay in a better place. Overall the room was nice and roomy.

Not a bad hotel… exactly what you would expect for the price. Typical free breakfast of waffles eggs and sausage. OK beds and bathrooms. Nice pool and hot tub. One elevator. Doors facing a courtyard. OK service. Computer with printer in lobby. Guest coin laundry. Not bad… but not excellent.

This place is good, no problems at all. Nothing spectacular, but a good value. Staff was excellent, we got there late after a long day and drive out of Yosemite NP and the check-​in went smoothly. You could tell the rooms had been recently renovated and they were very nice. Hotel itself looked good as well, with a very nice pool area.
Overall good hotel and a good value. Would give 3 ½ if I could.

Warning do not stay here. City of Manteca issued a stop work order on them. Horrible mattress, I could feel the springs. So cheap on their remodel they can’t even line up the shower controls with the drain. Avoid! Danger! Not clean, gross.

Well, stayed here this past weekend & had a mixed experience. The front desk clerk was nice, but they eneded up giving us the wrong room; thank god we had not unpacked; this one was more like a studio. As for our actual room was pretty spcious, one bed, one fold out, two tvs, a decent size bathroom; all with new paint, carpet, flooring etc. I just wish that they had a fully separate bedroom as the tvs were close to one & other which made it a little challenging to watch different programs at once, but managable. I could not stand the girls’ socker team running around late into the night & having an ice fight; the elivator which is reliable, but needs replacing, had ice both pieces & melted all over which could have caused someone to slip or screwed up the elivator. As for their pool, it does not have to be freezing cold or as warm as bath water, but definitely not freezing & they need to put an overhang over the entire pool area as the concretye was awfully hot; as for the pool, it was smqall than usual & packed; at least my niece & I were the only ones the first day. On a positive note, my niece thought she left a cup in the first room we were in by misstake & one of the employees went tto look & kept it open a crack for us to go look ourselves; he also brought us pool towels & I saw himn at breakfast the next day & we joked becasuse I had a Giants shirt on & he had an A’s hat. As for breakfast, it is not gourmet but gets the job done; mini danish, muffins, toast, waffles, sausages, pancakes, fruit, coffee, & juice; the women running the kitchen is very nice & got a danish out eventhough it was technically over & guided us out after a bit of a flood happened because the pool filter was not changed properly. Our keys deactivated on us; the front desk gave us new ones, only to have one working to our surprise. As for parking, it is straightforward. I think we will try the Holliday Inn or Hamptin next time.

We always stay at Best Westerns, whereever we go, even
Europe. We have never been disappointed until we stayed at Best Western in Manteca. The front desk was fine, as were the other employees. But the PILLOWS on the bed in our suite were AWFUL! It was a queen sized bed, with four pillows, square in shape, and sooooo thick! They were so small it was impossible to keep one’s head on a pillow, and so thick that we both got up with sore necks, after a miserable nights sleep. It was a cold night, and there were no extra blankets. We go to that area often, now, to visit family, and will not stay there again.

Bad service at the front desk. Terrible parking situation and one elevator that smells like death. Not coming back.

My husband and I got late start on our weekend trip to Yosemite so we decided to split the drive in half and stay Cheap because the Tenaya Lodge that we were staying at the next night was costly! I must say as far as rooms go this one was just as good as Tenaya and less than half the price. Of course it is not a resort and isn’t located among the Yosemite beauty but next time we visit the area we might stay two night outside of the park and save some cash!

Compared to other places this hotel is okay. The pool was clean and the rooms were decent. Much better kept than the Ramada. The breakfast was disgusting… but it was free so just make a waffle and exit pronto, it gets crowded and the kitchen lady is pretty strict ;)

She’s LEFT… «SM’ALLAMEDA» and trustingly followed {*enter names of several formerly trusted map websites*”} so she ends way up around a bunch of complete middle of nowhere roads with no indication of any commercial «Inn or Suites» in sight. We are truly in «THE MANTECA ZONE!»
So, we turned around and got back on the freeway and followed the next page of Google Maps and realized I had just accidentally visited what would be the location of a series of three very strung-​apart soccer matches happening for WC the next day. PS: I just should have made that straight journey from the Bay Area the next morning without having to deal with what we dealt with that night. Oh, but to have that drive 2x on a Sunday is almost as not easy on this gal either!
So, we turn the chariot around again, my friends, to make sure we’re still in «THE MANTECA ZONE» and get off that same last dead-​looking exit and follow it for a couple of miles and turn right only onto what we eventually discover to be the main road that bisects Manteca but you’ve started at the West End of the main industrial street and yet, you are staying at the farthest possible East End. Hmm, could be fun… let’s stay positive here!
Actually, I thought that drive was kind of cool: an interesting mix of cultures and businesses. I could drive the speed limit in the slow lane behind farm trucks bungee-​corded together and had time to look for our destination. I’m humoring and mumbling on about the terrain to myself «What a combination of American Suburbia AND…»
When WC suddenly as if almost on queue quipped: «Are we in Mexico, Mommy?»
(PS: WC hasn’t been to Mexico since he was almost three months old!)
Hey, that’s a good thought, perfect, since some potentially great non-​fast-​food said «¡SI!» to me!
So we progressed on and on feeling a bit lost. Then I pulled into a Mexican convenience store and the clerk was very helpful with directions since we were actually only one block away from this cursed place… at least for that night…
This inn is maybe not such a bad place if there aren’t buses of soccer teams of kids far older then yours hoofing it around and enjoying the ice-​cold swimming pool and freezing hot tub near your «suite.»
A «quiet» executive suite entailed: two queen beds, a whirlpool which didn’t work but that night’s polite desk clerk docked some $ off our stay, two TV’s. Yes, there were 2 TV’s, but about 4 feet apart so Sponge Bob and my choice of whatever was on couldn’t exactly be viewed at the same time. Let’s see, «oversized room:» good to know what that was. Let’s continue: microwave oven, which we didn’t test like the whirlpool. At least the front desk person working that night told the soccer cleat Conga Lines of kids freely opening the doors of the «quiet business suite» hallways stepped up and finally told room 1** downstairs to STFU since that was Door #3 apparently to a bunch of 12-​year-​olds.
The beds were fairly comfortable but the noise was unbearable. The front desk clerk working the next day was not sympathetic to us wanting a 3pm checkout since we were pretty sleep-​deprived. And this was right after we were reminded how obese America is since the «free breakfast zone» was over-​packed with people you didn’t dare mess with unless you wanted an apple, and I also managed to sneak out a styrofoam cup of OJ.
