History
Established in 1975.
After 30 years of service to the community, Dr. Claude Rudd passed the torch to Drs. Leanne Lee, Dr. Derron Lee. In 2006, Manteca Optometry was born.
Major renovations allowed Manteca Optometry to double in size. Another exam room was added, along with a beautiful optical displaying one of the largest designer frame selections in Manteca.
We strive to be innovative, fashion-forward. Our mission is to Change Lives Through Vision.
New computerized diagnostic equipment was also added.
Services were also added.
Dr. Leanne Lee provides Vision Development services for her patients. She has helped many children and adults overcome their vision problems from poor academic performance to recovering brain trauma victims.
Her husband, Dr. Derron Lee, is also in the office. He brings the latest technology in lenses and contacts to the office.
Dr. Derron Lee and Dr. Leanne Lee were recipients of California’s Young Optometrist of the Year Award in 2008 and 2009, respectively.

Business Owner
Dr. Leanne Lee is a native of the Stockton area. She graduated from Tokay High School in 1993.
She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of California Davis in 1998.
In 2003, she earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the State University of New York, College of Optometry.
Dr. Lee practices full scope optometry. She not only provides adult eye health care, but she also provides Vision Therapy and Pediatric eye health care. She examines children as early as 6 months of age.
Vision Therapy helps children who are having learning difficulties in school and also helps brain trauma patients.
Dr. Lee diagnoses and treat medically related eye conditions; she trained at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Lee also co-manages laser surgeries with the surgeons of Premier Laser Eye Center in Stockton.
Dr. Lee currently resides in Stockton and is married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. Derron Lee of Midtown Optometry in Stockton.
