First time writing a review but I was so pleased with their service that I just had to. First off, great experience! They were able to squeeze me in the same day I called and fixed my car within hours. Great customer service, honest, and Chris went the extra mile by providing me with some reading material about my car in case issues were to arise. This is my first time ever taking my car there and I do not regret it. There’s a reason why they’ve been in business for so long. I recommend them.

I have a 1990 F350 that I bought about a year ago and had nothing but problems with it. I have a few of these trucks and am usually able to fix them for the most part. One day I had no power at all and I couldn’t figure it out. I took it in to Precision and they had it fixed within a couple of days. Now the truck runs better than it ever has and I am really happy with the service. I have used Precision a few times and have always had great service. Mike the customer service rep is very knowledgeable and keeps you updated and informed. The prices are pretty good too. I highly recommend this place and I believe this is the best place in Manteca.

I needed to find a mechanic and someone told me about this business because they had been going to them for over 30 years. That impressed me. So I went and this company is very professional and do take care of their customers. I was given a quote for the work I needed done and they said if they didn’t have to repair or replace some things it would come in less. They did exactly that, fixed what needed to be fixed in a timely manner and my bill was less than my quote! Rare is it that I feel that I found and honest automotive repair place. Precision Automotive is that!

Honest auto repair that’s all you need to know on top of that their super friendly. Don’t take your automobile anywhere else I’m sold for as long as I live here in manteca.

Extremely happy to have found Precision! Everyone knows how difficult it is to find a good mechanic or shop for your cars and finding a good one is a big deal. I tried two other shops down the road from Precision and wasn’t really happy about them. I took my car in for service and they did a great job, the price was very fair, and the customer service was excellent. To me you can be the best in the world at something but if you don’t have the customer service you’re doing it wrong. They drove me back home after dropping off and picked me up at home when the car was done. They have earned us as customers from here on.

Early bird drop off for my appointment at 8am. I was able to drop off my keys in a slot with my car information and it was taken care of by my lunch time. I had an oil change and inspections as well as tire rotation. The staff is super friendly. They call and confirm your appointment and always very pleasant. Thank you for taking care of me today you guys, I will definitely bring my car back in for any service needed and refer you to my friends and family. Soooo thankful for the honesty and quick work from Chris and the crew at Precision! We take in our personal car and all our vans from our work fleet. ALWAYS clear and honest with what they can do and what to expect and with the pricing. They are always so busy, but still find time to get to our vehicles asap. Too many times to mention all the ‘above and beyond’ work that they have done for us. Thanks also for the troubleshooting that you need to do to keep my high mileage vehicle going for me — it’s my livelihood!

I have lived in Manteca for 30 years. I trust their advice, and recommendations. They have worked on my Chevys (Silverado and Astro Van) and now my Toyotas (Tacoma and Sienna). You will be guaranteed high quality customer service, thorough explanations, and HONESTY. I was impressed when (after 6 hours of labor), they could not replicate my AC (Silverado) problem. Their charge = FREE! If you are buying a car take it here for inspection as well. Any negative reviews on this company, I look at suspiciously.

I have been coming here for approx 3 years. I was referred by my auto body guy that these people are great. Chris had always been great! Takes care of the job and makes you feel like you have nothing to worry about that the job will get done. Which brings me to my rating of a 1! I brought my vehicle in last month because I was having start up issues. I paid almost 90 dollars to get it checked out, and to do an oil change which they said was the reason my car was acting that way. So, I picked my vehicle up and it was great, I was a little bummed out that I had to pay so much only to find out I just needed an oil change which roughly costs about 25 dollars. Lol well about 6 hours later my car was doing the same thing. So the next morning I called and expressed that I was frustrated because they diagnosed my car and said it was good to go and yet the problem still wasn’t corrected. I also expressed to them that I commute so it is important that I get this fixed being that I only have one means of transportation. They said go ahead and stop by in the morning and we’ll check it out. So I go in first thing in the morning, as he is checking me in. He doesn’t tell me but ask me to sign a form that shows it’s going cost me another 50 dollars to take a look at it. I asked him, am I going to be charged another 50 dollars? He said yes. I said so why should I pay you guys AGAIN when you didn’t fix the initial problem. His reasoning was that I had my check engine light on and that’s what they charged me for in the first place. I said ok but I told you initially what the problem was and you said that it was good to go and the problem was fixed. So therefore I don’t feel that it’s right that I’m being charged again, regardless if I had a check engine light. Don’t tell someone the problem is fixed when it isn’t and then expect me to pay for you to recheck my car. Honestly it’s bad business and bad customer care. So I contacted a mechanic in ripon, who didn’t charge me a dime to look at it and he took care of the problem, which was my starter. I work in customer service and believe me if I mess up, I will take care of you. At NO additional charge. I have refered so many people here, that won’t be happening anymore. I am extremely disappointed and I’ll never go back. Complete waste of my money and time!!!

5 stars just does not do any justice! Unilocal needs to make a 10 stars category. Highly recommend this place for any auto care. The ONLY place We will trust with our WRX STI. Staff is amazing, friendly, honest, explain and conmunicate everything in detail the process before doing anything. Love how they treat every customer like family. Hands down the best place in town.

I really like this place! The customer service is great and they really make you feel welcomed. I will be taking my car here from now on as they have earned my business.

Family owned businesses like Precision is what America is about. Chris the owner does what he says he will do for the price he quotes and keeps you up to date as he works on your vehicle. For me it was my 1962 Ford F100. Not only did he replace and fix the items I needed done, he also had to make a part he couldn’t find. You can’t go wrong with Precision Auto. Good Business and Good People, great combination.

I will be taking my car here from now on the owner was so nice and I had taken my car some where else before them and had left it at that other auto repair shop for three days and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong took it to precision and they fixed my problem in one day. I will be telling everybody about this place.

I want to start off by saying WOW! Chris and his team have a great thing going! I had gone to 3 different mechanics before I was sent to precision! And I’m so happy I ended up here! Called the shop and told them about my car making crazy sounds under the hood. Chris told me he would look at it no problem! Before I was in the parking lot and out of my car Chris was there to meet me! Diagnosed my problem in less then a minute at no charge! Handed him the keys at 930 picked my car up at 2! Precision automotive is now my one stop shop! Thanks again Chris and team!

Excellent shop! Been coming here about 3 years now, and have never been disappointed. Prices are fair, work is done right the first time, and they won’t try to sell you anything you don’t need.

Nothing is scarier to be new in the area and need car repairs. The horror stories are real. When I would ask neighbors, friends and doctor’s who they used, one name kept coming up, Chris at Precision Automotive. I can’t say enough about Chris and his shop. They do a GREAT job, go the extra mile and have to be the most hard working, honest people I have ever met. Chris and his staff are top notch and I have been very happy with all the services they have provided. Thank you Precision Automotive for putting integrity back into the Auto Repair business.

WOW. That’s one word to sum up this establishment! I called Chris at Precision auto because I needed my headlight replaced and the fancy dealership I had called previously said I’d have to wait 4 hours! Since I’m pregnant and with a child already, that just wasn’t gonna work out. Chris said he would call me back in 20 minutes to quote me a price and do research since replacing my headlight could be tricky on my model car. He actually called back! So in we went to have it replaced! My husband and I had a nice conversation with him and he replaced the difficult headlight within one hour! The price was completely fair and I was so impressed with his honesty and thank god that I found such a trustworthy place to bring my car to. I highly highly recommend this place! They had toys for kids to play with as well, which helped a lot in keeping my toddler busy. 5 stars!
